    Low bow i am using for the Arial balls and drag the ball . Low bow allows you to drag the ball during dribbling with the head curve only even 360 digre . Taping the ball up from the left is more easier then mid bow

    Could you maybe recommend a few mid bow sticks? Struggling to find any good looking MB sticks

    I recently low bow osaka stick, and I'm having problems with my backhand shot. When I hit the ball it goes flying of tho the right of where I wan't it to go... Is this a problem with my bow or is my technique not to good?

      Well firstly we would not recommend any other stick other than Crown sticks ;) your current stick shape maybe be a low bow, but it may not a be a great shape for reverse hits (but we do not know the shapes of every type of hockey stick, so it also could not be down to the stick). Low bows normally make reverse hits easier, as you do not have to bend down as far to hit throw the centre of the ball. We suggest breaking your technique down slowly, focus on where you are hitting the ball and practice some slow hits. Also check to make sure your body position is along side the ball or your body is just behind it (if the ball is too far in front of you it will end up to the right of the target). Those are our top tips. We shall film a reverse hitting tutorial in the future. Thank you for the question.

    So it depends on my playing style?
    I’ve never played, I want to start though....

      We suggest starting with a Low bow stick shape then, just because most players prefer it ;) we currently sell around 80% low bows and 20% mid bow, so the odds are in favor of you preferring low bow right now.

      Hi Darkscarlet, thank you very much for you're message. If you're just starting out I would probably recommend going with a low-bow. Its a fun stick to start out with and there is a trend for doing more and more 3D tricks both on and off pitch. This is a great way to get into the game starting to improve your control and generally just enjoy yourself with the sport. Hope that helps :]
      Best regards, Matt @ Crown

    Just wondering if i should get a low bow or mid bow i play left and right half dont really know which to get
    Im deciding out of the mazon black magic 360 lb or mb

    • @CrownHockey

      We suggest buying a Crown stick (as we created Crown hockey to manufacture sticks ourselves, as we did not believe that other brands were manufacturing well). Please also check out our blog for an in-depth write up about low vs mid bow. Without knowing more about your playing style we would suggest a low bow as that is the best fit for around 80% of players. Thank you for the question.

    Are mid bow and standard bow the same thing

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  6 років тому

      Hi Samrina, I believe so, although it probably depends on the brand. So I suggest always checking measurements. On our stick pages we have a drawing which shows the bow position for both or low bow and mid bow models. Thanks for the question

    Hi, is a classic curve the same as a midbow. I am looking at a stick and it says it has a 24mm curve and the curve is located at 310mm. The weight is light. Is this a midbow and would it be good for a defender as i am trying to get power in my slaps? thank you

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  2 роки тому

      We don't really know for sure, but a 24mm curve located at 310mm sounds like a mid bow to us. Normally lightweight sticks are worse for slap passes, although all other brands sticks differ so much that is is impossible to tell as to whether or not a stick is good for slap passes, unless you try out the exact stick you are considering purchasing. Crown sticks are the only stick we would recommend.

    What is a pro bow stick

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  5 років тому

      I believe that it is best to check with the brand we are Crown hockey and so do not know too much about other brands products. (However a low bow normally has a peak bow height of around 200 - 250 mm from the end of the head and a mid bow is around the 300 mm mark )

    I have a super low bow. Is it harder to do reverse hits with a low bow?

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  2 роки тому +1

      It does depend on the specific shape of the stick, but in general Low bows are better for reverse hits when compared to mid bows, as you do not need to get you hands as low to the ground to make good contact with the ball. With a more upright hitting posture you are able to het reverse hits quicker and with more power. (There are other points which make them better too, but maybe we should do a quick video answering this question in more detail 🤔)

    If I play as a defender but I dribble up the pitch what would u recommend ?

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  5 років тому

      If you throw an Aerial pass from the back, or go for some 3D skills during your dribbling runs then a Low Bow is the best choice for these skills

  • @raynramzan4598

    I also play as a attacking midfielder , I dribble and make key passes ( I don’t really shoot ) I was thinking of getting a Dynabow stick what do u recommend ?

    • @CrownHockey
      @CrownHockey  5 років тому

      We invented Crown hockey as we do not believe that any other brands were creating good quality sticks, so we would not suggest a Dynabow, please check out Crownhockey.com we are the only brand that are manufacturing our own sticks. We approach things in a different way.

      @CrownHockey  5 років тому

      @@raynramzan4598 We sell Crown sticks. Other brands may design their own graphics and shapes but they do not manufacture sticks themselves, they ask another company to manufacture their products from them. We are changing this to learn more and create better sticks
