- It’s great to have a recovery story that is as powerful and Kylie’s.
She was young and fit and had access to medical care, but breast cancer does not pick and choose.
Today I am sharing her journey as it has been publicly shared and giving you my insights as a professional in breast care..

Hi, I'm Dr Tasha
I’m a Doctor, Breast Cancer Surgeon and Medical Educator. After 20 years helping people to understand and overcome breast health problems, I’ve seen first hand the fear, frustration and stress that my patients go through.
As a breast specialist with over a decade’s worth of experience, I understand finding the right information, processing a diagnosis, understanding treatment and getting accurate, practical advice as you ride the rollercoaster of emotions can be really tough.
But I’m here to help.
The internet can be a wonderful source of information but when it comes to breast health there’s a lot of inaccurate information out there. Listening to the wrong advice could cause you unnecessary worry or even put your health at risk.
So I wanted to create an accessible hub where you could find useful, accurate and reliable information from a trusted source - a Breast Health Doctor - all in one place.
That’s exactly what you’ll find here on my UA-cam Channel.

She is an incredible person, love her
Yes, a total legend 🥰
Kylie's diminutive stature and sweet nature are deceptive - she is an incredibly resilient woman with so many admirable qualities.
Absolutely 💯 🙌🏽
Just finished my radiation for stage 3b breast cancer. Right before I was diagnosed, I listened to Kylie and Olivia Newton-John. It was almost like it was meant to be or something. As if they were telling me something. In fact, I got diagnosed when Olivia passed away. It was very interesting. Did all the treatments: chemo, mastectomy and radiation. Every morning I listen to Say Something as my strength song.
Wow what an interesting story. That does sound like a sign of sorts. I hope you treatment went well 🙏🏽
@@drtashagthe red devil was ok. The taxol was horrible. The mastectomy was like a blur. But I hated the drains. Radiation just made me very tired and burnt. But my last treatment was September 1st. My right axillary lymph node side is still numb and my arm is still kinda tight. Not sure if that's permanent. But thankfully no lymphodema
@@shannonb2817 It is a long process for sure. I wish you well in your continuing recovery 🙏🏽
@@drtashag thank youuuu
Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤ i love kylie. Possibly, cancer in a young age (35) may be cause BRCA? She was so young... she was misdiagnosed. She insisted in a second opinion and then positive for cancer.
Yes, I am glad she has recovered well 👍🏽
As an Australian I love Kylie Minogue and I am shocked to hear she once had breast cancer
Yes, I think it was a shock to many people when it was announced all those years ago.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Not important but... a sit-com is a situational comedy. Neighbours is a soap opera :)
Good point! 👍🏽
