Great video again thanks for the laughs 😂
Well done fellas. Honest detecting. Thats what we like. Always great to what. Learn a thing or two along the way. Take care boys😁👍
Hi Ant and Glenn, you brave bunch of people detecting in that heat,
Glenn I go to the Kilmore races quite a bit,
I’ll keep an eye out next time I’m there.
Good on you boys another great video ,always entertaining with a splash of knowledge 👍👍
Not only is Glenn a Dig head he is also a Big Head...😂😂 Mr popular. Ps Leave the monsters alone. 😂
If it's ruby glass, it's made with a high percentage of gold, Ant! I'd guess it had an eyelet on the back and was a button, and that edging seemed decorated and gilded, nice find!
Nice that Glenn had the collar up, and despite starting last, wins by 16 furlongs. Better luck next time, Ant and Ken. On the common Acacia here in Victoria, can neatly say three main ones, Blackwood, Lightwood, and Ringwood... witchety grubs making the rings under the bark, and they then fall over, 8-10 year lifespan. Lightwood is named for being the lightest for the best charcoal, vast areas were harvested. Sandown Village used to be one in the 1850s, and the Springvale Hotel nearby used to be the No Good Damper Inn, as they planted lime instead of flour the next time the indigenous stole from the stores, hence, the damper was no good.
If you're desperate for a coffee and will accept a substitute, you can roast and crush the seeds and make a brew. I'd worry though that I'd choose the wrong species and get a large dose of DMT, which are also found in some wattle seeds. So pay attention when Glenn is telling you something important! Haha! Cheers!
The day was hot, but the finds were not! Such is life! Cheers!
I want to prospect with Glen, he gets it when no one can. My old man was an inventor of machinery for miners, he taught gemstone faceting, and was a lapidist, I have all his gear here, he dragged me down every hole in Australia, Ive been an amateur geologist and Ive dug up almost every stone, I imported gemstones for jewellers. My professional opinion on that red thing you found is that i dont have a clue what it is. Hope that helps.
By the way my sons bought me a jackery and solar panel for xmas, I was furious they spent so much money, but on the other hand I can sit on the lounge with a jackery powered fan watching you while enjoying a cold one. Cheers lads
GOOD TIMES" GO VGH! CHEERS" from -10C IDAHO!
Jebedali boys 👍
Hard work in the heat guys. Good to see you are still using the walkie talkies. Sue reckons Ant's find could be a moonstone broach.
Cheer's Boy's !
A tough day at the office for team VGH this time 😢.Oh well that's what keeps us coming back eh!
😂 hot even on south coast of NSW today chasing goodies so know how you guys felt. Keep up your great videos and comments 👍
To hot for the gold to come out 😅,cheers
You can see it building Glenn. It’s only a matter of time before the paparazzi start camping outside your place
I found a hut site with chimney rocks in the Buckland Valley a few weeks ago after going in there for 25 years.
On the back if it has 2 push in buttons it would be a (Antique ruby red glass old collar stud button solitaire clip), look that up and u will see the complete one,
I think that what Ant found may be part of a cuff link?
@@helenbennett2845 i thought the same.
I think you may have a cuff link there boys.
I'd take that ring or broach to a lapidary club and see if they can ID it, you never know.
Ant l think you may have found an old timers make do glass eye 😂
Im not sure but that looks very similar to a button we found that the prostitutes of the gold fields used to have on their dresses to lift them up off. the floor when walking. Great video legends!
Happy chappies ..you are keen out in the heat ..too hot for me ..
hey how are ya, i dont know what your spelling is but what does jibberdali mean
