Holy hell the camera work. How do you get it to be so cinematic and high quality? I'm more impressed by the smooth movement and change in perspective than anything
There is an option in the controls settings for a smooth movement camera, which I don’t believe is keybound by default. So I use that plus I just have a general cinematic sense I guess to know where to position the camera and then I just slowly move my mouse to follow whatever I’m focusing on.
It looks great man! I’ve been following the series since the start and I’m liking the noticeable increase in story telling and battle scale as time goes on. The cinematic shots really sell it like that destroyer getting eviscerated. You helped me learn a lot about how to use mimics and give myself a chance to build outside of what I thought myself capable of. My fletcher class destroyer has been coming along well and I’m so excited for it :) you’re welcome to see if you’d like
Hell yeah man, I love to hear it. And I’d be curious to see your fletcher! I’ve made a few fletchers in the past and progressively getting better. But with the new fleet I’m working on, I’m probably gonna make another one.
