Literally chills every time. I just went yesterday to see the semis in Cambridge. I forgot who did this Version as well but was nowhere near as powerful and haunting. It was life
I still listen to this on a regular basis. I have never seen and heard a better acapella performance from a college group. The range, musicality, texture, and energy are just off the charts.
God every time I come back to this arrangement I just wanna smash that like button til it’s nothing but a bloody stump on a lump of glass that was my phone.
Charlie Schwartz I'll admit I never learned her name, but after multiple plays of this song, I refer to her as "Ding girl" and she is so freaking talented. Lol
I've seen this probably 20 times and I still get CHILLS hearing Anthony's "Cheyenne" and his "Writing's On the Wall" solo. You all definitely deserved that ICCA championship
Just discovered 3 weeks ago. There's too much exceptional to address without an essay, but the echo effect at 6:38, the descending chord at 7:49, the note at 8:28, and Anthony's super-note at the end with the whole group... 😳 I can't stop rewatching this performance.
That arrangement of creeks is everything you could ask for: powerful, spine tingling and perfectly executed. Huge power and props that you kept the coreo simple and strong which only adds to the perfection. To hear the notes echo through the auditorium, you can tell people were on the edge of their seats. So, so, so well done.
I'm still trying to figure out how Shams and Elliot fit five whole and totally fulfilling songs into one 12 minute set. I have never been this impressed in my life. This is pure magic, I swear. Amazing job, all of you.
This set and Faux Paz 2016 ICCA set are my two favorite acapella videos possibly of all time. More than just the perfection of the solos, arrangements, background, dynamics, vocal percussion, choreography, etc... the real magic for me comes from the pure emotions that everyone expresses. Especially at 8:28 when you see the two girls in front, one belting her heart out and the other with a powerful, almost angry expression, you really feel the power of the songs because you can see it plainly on their faces. That moment alone brings me nearly to tears and makes me crave and miss the adrenaline and energy of vocal performance.
After pentatonix, I thought no one could ever even get CLOSE. I only have ever gotten chills with an accapella group with pentatonix and I got chills basically through all 12 minutes. I love you guys so much you are amazing
I think pentatonix are amazing for a group of five singers. But the Nor’Easters have the avantage to be more numerous, also they manage to come up with very original and emotional arrangements!!!
All so good, but damn do they shine when they pull back. CREEKS, Intro, and the ending of Writing's on the wall are just so clean. Anthony gives me chills.
The is my dose of amazement since "What Now" Nor'Easters 2015 BON3R performance. Creeks is definitely a highlight of this performance. Such an amazing group, through and through, year after year.
As good as this whole routine was and as amazing as the first tenor is... creeks with that bass ... oh my god! Possibly the single best piece of vocal harmony I’ve ever heard. I can only imagine it is down to not only an incredible arrangement but a coming together of voices that just Work so perfectly together as a sound. The world needs that Creeks as a track. Don’t get me wrong Bon Iver still owns this song as Vernon has so much feeling that it even comes through the midi controlled vocals but this is different ... this is a demonstration of perfected technical vocals performed at the highest possible level. Thank you
When anthony starts hitting those notes my whole body just starts tingling. his voice is angelic. and I think it was Sofia with that crazy high note. together are truly amazing.
That performance of 715 Creeks is incredible, I got chills! I'm super picky about Bon Iver covers but y'all nailed the emotional impact of it, so well done
I remember seeing a video of 715 - CRΣΣKS from before the 2017 competition season. It looked like y'all were in a church or something? But I've been trying to find it. I was wondering if it was taken down. By the way, your arrangements are all GOLDEN.
just discovered this now.. creeks = full body chills.. amazing rendition of an even more amazing original.. so many things to unpack between both... comes down to both = perfection
ok but literally where do I even start.... granted I am a very over emotional person but this shit brought me to tears, actual legit tears on my face. I knew you guys were good but holy shit, I was covered in goose bumps the entire time. I've never heard anything like it, I am shook. also please come to England
They’re just about as close to perfectly in sync as humanly possible and that Creeks arrangement is absolutely beautiful. Full of emotion and vocal subtleties. Oof. Yeah I cried.
I have no word for this OMFFGGGGG YOU ARE MY FAVORITE GROUP akhhh yess yess this is what we call ICCA winner yazzz RUPALLLL AND MEGHANNN you girls killed itt my lovely seniorrr akhhh 💗💗🖤🖤❤️💖💕💞💓
You guys are absolutely spectacular. The way you take advantage of what a cappella can do is a dream. I directed a group about 10 years ago, have always been an a cappella junkie -- you guys are the first group I've ever heard truly do justice to the art.
I've watched this 50 times now? one of the most impressive sets I have ever seen. Amazing voice control, bass/beatbox combo, and harmonic sync. The falsetto...I mean come on.
Hey Nor'easters! Your videos have been so inspirational and uplifting, and I hope you guys keep using your gifts to touch people hearts because you certainly touched mine. Please consider in making your guys' arrangement of 715-Creeks a single... it's indescribably beautiful and I can't stop listening to it! I wish all the luck to you guys out there, and never stop making people happy with the gift of music. Thanks guys!
It’s been over 7 years and I still come back to this performance. At this point, at least 4,000 of those views come from me alone 😂
Just to help everyone out. Creeks starts at 3:20.
Sofia S thanks lol 😂
Creeks arrangement was literally on another level
I know, right? Blows my mind. lol
It's unbelievable.
Was skeptical....that version of Creeks was incredible and ballsy
Literally chills every time. I just went yesterday to see the semis in Cambridge. I forgot who did this Version as well but was nowhere near as powerful and haunting. It was life
Not gonna lie, I sweat a little.
ANTHONY HELD THAT NOTE FOR LONGER THAN I'VE BEEN ALIVE
Hahahahahahaha!!! Yes :D
I love this lol
Check out Dimash sinful passion ;)
I seriously feel bad for any other group that heard this for the first time at the ICCA. I would just be like "Yep, we lost." Wouldn't even be mad.
Hi gu
That’s exactly what happened when my group went up against them. It was a proud loss.
My Weave. My edges. My Scalp.... ive been snatchedT bald.
I still listen to this on a regular basis. I have never seen and heard a better acapella performance from a college group. The range, musicality, texture, and energy are just off the charts.
Still coming back to this almost 7 years later
6 years have passed, this is still my favorite acappella performance.
Shock me every time when I come back to it.
I’m here too. I can’t get over it.
i cant believe he held that note for 22 seconds, jesus christ
5 measures, 20 beats. Great closer.
Go the distance by vocal spectrum their baritone (maybe tenor 2) holds a note for almost 30 seconds its wild
8:39 That Indian touch is just celestial! 😍
Anoop Surej Omg absolutely 😍😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭
Anoop Surej yasss my queen RUPAL slayyy all through the performance
They had an Indian touch in their transition to "Elastic Heart" in their 2016 set i think it was? It was also fire! Always stands out. Love em
Your bass and 1st tenor are legendary everyone is so talented tho
Okay. Maaaajor props to all the middle parts. I can only imagine the level of difficulty...
Creeks = EPIC. Start at 3:22 and make sure you're sitting down.
GOD DAMN, that is a sublime arrangement of Creeks.
That arrangement of creeks is AMAZING!!!
Reese Landis COULD NOT AGREE MORE
Thank you!
Elliott von Wendt will you be performing it as a single?
Please release a single version of it, it's absolutely beautiful
Elliott von Wendt pllzzz can you send me your arrangement of 715-Creeks??? I need it sooo bad and can't wait to try it with my friends!!
God every time I come back to this arrangement I just wanna smash that like button til it’s nothing but a bloody stump on a lump of glass that was my phone.
the bass in creeks is insane...that arrangement never fails to get me choked up
losing it here
My a cappella group did this arrangement and I was on bass mic. It’s so cool to do
So, should we all quit A Cappella? They've got us covered. This was EVERYTHING. Holy hellz
To the girl in the front who hits the high C#6 at 8:28...... holy....... who are you and where did you learn how to disguise your wings so stealthily?
Charlie Schwartz I'll admit I never learned her name, but after multiple plays of this song, I refer to her as "Ding girl" and she is so freaking talented. Lol
Ok, her name is Sofia.
@@Jroe206535 Sofia who?
@@YouWillGetThereBuddy Sofia Berg :)
That creeks arrangement gave me chills about 5 whole separate times and now i'm crying i want to die listening to that song.
Y'all should release Creeks as a single !!! I'm in love.
Anthony's "Cheyenne" got me goosebumps omg... this was amazing
Okay I can die happy now because I got 715-CREEKS
Alex Van den Broek CAN'T AGREE MORE
I've seen this probably 20 times and I still get CHILLS hearing Anthony's "Cheyenne" and his "Writing's On the Wall" solo. You all definitely deserved that ICCA championship
LITERALLY sAME every frugginfrakcinheckin time i listen to it i get chills
Only 20 times??? Those are rookie numbers XD
Just discovered 3 weeks ago. There's too much exceptional to address without an essay, but the echo effect at 6:38, the descending chord at 7:49, the note at 8:28, and Anthony's super-note at the end with the whole group... 😳 I can't stop rewatching this performance.

“Intro” is one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed
there are tears flowing from my eyes because of creeks, literal perfect choral arrangement and an amazing song choice
I'm still trying to figure out how Shams and Elliot fit five whole and totally fulfilling songs into one 12 minute set. I have never been this impressed in my life. This is pure magic, I swear. Amazing job, all of you.

My all-time favorite Acapella Group!
After pentatonix, I thought no one could ever even get CLOSE. I only have ever gotten chills with an accapella group with pentatonix and I got chills basically through all 12 minutes. I love you guys so much you are amazing
Jack Quinby honestly I think this group is better than Pentatonix
Gabby Olsen but this one has more than twice as much members compared to pentatonix. Probably thats why
I think pentatonix are amazing for a group of five singers. But the Nor’Easters have the avantage to be more numerous, also they manage to come up with very original and emotional arrangements!!!
@@morganrouzies6198 i gotta agree on that. Pentatonix is getting more and more mainstream (which i dont like)
@@morganrouzies6198 their chords can be thicker which gives them the depth to be able to pull off arrangements like creeks
I would pay to see and hear them LIVE! omg I CAN'T GET ENOUGH. GOOSEBUMPS ALL OVER OMG
words just aren't enough to describe how wonderful this band is...the power of the human voice
All so good, but damn do they shine when they pull back. CREEKS, Intro, and the ending of Writing's on the wall are just so clean. Anthony gives me chills.
Blows my mind. They are on a whole different level with this performance.
ANTHONY’S HIGH NOTES ARE HIGHER THAN MY GRADES
The is my dose of amazement since "What Now" Nor'Easters 2015 BON3R performance. Creeks is definitely a highlight of this performance.
Such an amazing group, through and through, year after year.
Amazing arrangement for 715-Creeks. Hauntingly beautiful.
I will not be okay until this hits 1 million. who's with me?
I'm always trying to share this
I NEED 715 - CREEKS AS A SINGLE IMMEDIATELY ❤❤❤ !!
THAT GUY AT THE END THOUGH!!!! THE WHOLE GROUP!!!! LOVEEEEEE IITTTTTT

Listening to this on an endless loop. Easily the best a capella I've ever heard.
I can not get over the transitions between the songs they are unbelievable! Especially the transition to Writings on the Wall. Absolutely amazing!
I NEED THAT 715-CREEKS ARRANGEMENT IN MY LIFE!
Anthony is so incredibly talented, it blows my mind

Revisiting for the hundredth time. The sound is so full. Props to you and the sound folks. Just fantastic.
When anthony starts hitting those notes my whole body just starts tingling. his voice is angelic. and I think it was Sofia with that crazy high note. together are truly amazing.
