For weeks now I've been running my H90 off a single cable from a CIOKS power supply rated at 12v 500mA (their supplied 2.5mm center positive eventide cable). I've experienced no issues what so ever. I only just realized the H90 requires 12v at 600mA. Will I damage or negatively effect my H90 over time if I continue to run it at 500mA? Should I definitely be using the current doubler method mentioned in this video despite having no issues so far with a single cable at 500mA? An answer/clarification would be greatly appreciated as I love this pedal and would hate to break it or run it sub-optimally with my ignorance.
One outlet is fine as long as it’s running at 12V. Two outlets are necessary if running at 9V. The video explicitly states this is okay and we’ve verified it with Cioks.
I am struggling with toggle the preset on and off when using pc. if I am using cc I can manage to toggle a program on and off with my morning star mc6 pro. but than it will not change the program if I want to access another preset. pc and cc in combination is also not working. I am sure I am the problem. can someone help me out?
PC is only for Programs, not presets. It is not possible to change presets within a program using MIDI. Toggling preset or program states (active or bypass) can only be done with CC messages.
thank you, maybe I mixed wordings up - I want to select a program and turn it of and on via toggle. but if I am using PC Message to select the program I am not able to google. @@EventideAudio
I solved it with calling a program by PC, Setting a CC Value for the P Act/Byp (M) and in the Morning Star I always call the PC Number and on Position 2 I am sending cc with value 0 - morning star preset set to toggle mode
@@veloaficionado5687 Please explain the issue you’re experiencing. Nothing has changed with the H90 as far as toggling Tempo Sync. It must be done in the Parameters menu. Choose the preset you wish to be synced and simultaneously press PRESETS & PARAMETERS to toggle it. The metronome symbol appears (or disappears) from the screen.

I worked it out : First press the PARAMETERS button once to enter Paramaters mode then press the PRESETS & PARAMETERS buttons quickly to toggle sync ; I was pressing and holding the two buttons which sent me into Tempo settings 🙏
In the System Menu, under MIDI, find MIDI - Global Control. Assign a CC# to the Tap Tempo parameter. In the H90 Tempo menu, set Source to MIDI Clock. On your G3, program a button to tap tempo using the same CC#. Make sure H90 and G3 are set to the same MIDI channel.
If you save the Program with Preset A in an active state and Preset B in a bypassed state, recalling the Program via MIDI will recall the presets in those saved states.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use my Gigrig G3 tap tempo function to control the tap on the H90.
