At 7:23 Not only can you repair the thrusters from inside the ship, all you have to do is look up and there's cargo access to get the parts you need right above your head. Very thoughtful design choice.
Thanks for review! I am currently trying to catch an inspiration to build a really big refinery ship, maybe will upload on the workshop at some point... The ultimate dream for me is to make a ship scenario, but I don't have much time.
This ship does so many things right, it'd make a seamless addition to the vanilla NPC cargo ships (but with DLC) if the game could handle this kinda PCU load
I'd like to see a let's play series of a crew using this ship in survival and re shaping it to their needs, how it would evolve over the course of the series would be a fun watch.
you know that your imbeded connector had a camera to help you dock also those gate you could not open where turn off, you can right click on a terminal/inventory/button to get access to the terminal view of the block
So you know from now on that when you go up to a door and it hi lights yellow you can just hit the button you use to access your terminal button. you dont need to go to a control panel on it to access the terminal. I think this will help you in the future for these reviews. Also i recommend this to every person that has a channel that shows off ships. Get Build Info from the workshop and add it to your world that you do this stuff in. You will be amazed at all it tells you when your pointing to stuff on a ship. Also when your in a control seat it tells you whats on the hotbar without you having to hit g to see.
I see c= yeah I didn't know that x3 I think someone commented that too but I misunderstood, that would be handy 83 I did get Build Info recommendations but I prefer not using it and memorizing the variables of blocks myself to keep myself on edge in terms of keeping myself informed xD
I put a landing pad on the rear of a ship and the NPCs attack it first then the blocks distort under the landing gears and the ship goes bye bye when it disconnects. Thinking of a new design to keep that from happening
@@LucaTheGuide Oh thank you i have just started using blast doors in certain spots. Good alt to heavy armor not as strong but dont need Metal grids. Been getting into more combat and finding what works and what doesnt. Noticed angled armor also is good at deflecting impact so been using a lot more angles. I will try the blast doors and see how they do tired of my small ships flying off into space. Love your videos been learning a lot
Lol, I do love ships with maze-like interiors like this, although they become hellish as soon as you're under attack and find yourself like a 5 minute walk from your control seat. These days I make my interiors as compact as possible for that reason, at least for ships I expect might see combat...
I do agree, it SHOULD be able to take off and land on a planet, rather than only dock on low or zero G stations, it goes back to cost per tonnage of what is being shipped. I would have scrapped all those decorations and focused solely on cargo, hydrogen thrusters, and jump drives. And yes, I would armor all my drives and hydrogen tanks a whole lot more, as a [relatively] undefended ship. I MIGHT actually arm it some though.
@@LucaTheGuide While gatlings are good for small fighters, I personally would use BoBs [set in fly mode and grind only] as my defense for those (banned from servers?) so I can focus my resources on really heavy weapons, capable of dealing out major damage at long ranges. I don't plan to stick around for a long, drawn out battle like a dedicated battle ship if my job is hauling and selling cargo, but I never want to be a sitting duck, either. If I am trading in hostile space, I fully plan to make enemies at least hesitant to come take my goods. And, if I am part of a team, then I can have the others of the team run interference until we can clear a gravity well and jump out.
I always struggle with this. My ships are either too large for their intended purpose or too small. I struggle to find a middle ground, especially for my landers
Being a CARGO ship, the ONLY reason for hydrogen tanks is to TRANSPORT it. The ship is a dedicated ship for just making jumps and getting away from enemies, as opposed to fighting or outmaneuvering. With a good strong reactor and a lot of batteries, it can just keep jumping until it gets to its destination. The ship is just meant for the specific purpose of hauling cargo. It is a commercial vessel, so the rest of that stuff really doesn't matter. MY complaint is that so much space is wasted on needless junk like crew quarters where more cargo container could have been put.
Yeah the hydrogen tanks are certainly just there to transport fuel c= I do like how they make the crew quarters relatively low PCU without spending too much on high PCU things x3
@@LucaTheGuide I personally would build my own cargo transports [if I were in that kind of business] with tons of heavy plate, multi-layered exterior, and tons of heavy, long range weaponry. And then still have as many reactors an jump drives as possible, just so I could avoid being in any situation where combat might be likely. "The best way to win at combat is by avoiding it" [aka "Discretion is the better part of valor"] But I'm by no means opposed to putting large railguns on a cargo hauler, because if I'm stuck in a gravity well and jumping is not an option, I want to have the power to deal the maximum damage to any enemy. Those, along with a massive array of rapid-reload missile/rocket launchers to act as chaff, and perhaps a few printable AI guided missiles to keep them distracted. So... Yeah... A "Battle Barge" [a name I kinda half coined, half borrowed from HavocLP]. If you have not been following his most recent season, he hijacked some trade barges and refitted them for combat. Not the most elegant solution, but a really fast and easy one.
Discovered this channel recently, must say you voice has a pleasant ASMR effect, might be the accent.
Gonna watch more videos.
It’s hard to believe that these creations exist in my favorite cube building simulator
xD that's one way to put it x3

Oo didn't notice the cargo access c= yeah one of my ships is like that too x3 it's a very nice design feature to have

Yeah c= it's nicely well-built x3
This ship feels vary "Star Citizen" inspired. Lots of little cosmetic passageways for role play purposes.
I'd like to see a let's play series of a crew using this ship in survival and re shaping it to their needs, how it would evolve over the course of the series would be a fun watch.
That would be interesting to see c=
That walkable area that goes through the middle of the ship reminds me of the empty cargo holds of a container ship.
Same c= one of my cargo ships is like that too x3
maybe its the lighting, but i get dead space vibes from this ship. spooky atmosphere.
you know that your imbeded connector had a camera to help you dock

Didn't see it xD and yeah c= I didn't notice that, someone mentioned it too x3 I was checking the terminals but didn't notice they were turned off
@@LucaTheGuide Did it have timer or event controllers maybe to prevent some door pair to be opened at the same time to avoid venting the whole ship?

This ship appears to have been created for a cat-and-mouse PVP game, where the crew is being hunted down by something in the walls.
That was an intention. With new ventilation blocks they added it will be even better.
I put a landing pad on the rear of a ship and the NPCs attack it first then the blocks distort under the landing gears and the ship goes bye bye when it disconnects. Thinking of a new design to keep that from happening
Rip, try using blast doors x3 they don't deform c=

Those doors just need turned on.
Ah xD didn't notice
actually its an automated airlock. the doors behind needed closed.
I can't believe how much people can fit into ships sometimes, shows that I have made my ships interiors really inefficient.
Yeah this 1 is really crazy xD wasn't expecting that x3

A good way is usually to design your ship according to your needs then the size usually matches very well c= x3

Switch off flashlight so people can appreciate intended view of the interior.

Its literally a refit of the Red Frigate, they didn't come up with this by themselves.
