This was many decades before my time, but it still is funny because of their sheer talent and the hard work they had previously engaged in to get the timing down so perfectly. This didn't happen by accident, only by lots of repetition until they deemed it good enough to do in front of an audience. Nothing in that performance is easy to master, ESPECIALLY the talent for making it look completely spontaneous and effortless. Did you notice...not a single bad word, not a single cringy reference, not a single put down of anyone. No audience member was targeted to be embarrassed against their will. It was cool seeing A&B getting laughs . It was fun watching you trying to understand what they saying at first but as the skit played out the laughs bust out. Great stuff thank you for sharing
Your reactions in real time are so sweet -thanks for this.
I love Abbott and Costello, I first heard about them and this skit when I was studying television and broadcasting since then I was hooked and watched some of their movies like Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, etc. I enjoyed this reaction video thanks!
I love you guys watching these old Abbot and Costello acts! I grew up with these!

I saw two guys reenact this at a dinner theater at some campresort when I was 12 it was amazing! I fucking love this skit.
Nice to see these two young and attractive people showing respect for generations past. Makes me think there might be some hope for this polarized and divided world.
Thank you!!!!
Thanks for the throw-back!
I love Abbott and Costello. They were hysterical without having to use foul language and all that to be funny.
Being an older person, I love when you younger folks laugh, at what we laughed at so, so many years ago
Thank You
It's as funny today as it was half-a-century ago. Classic!
I've seen them do this routine in movies, on radio, on TV and recorded live performance. Their timing in this performance at the Actors' Home was extra sharp.
I`ve heard about this but its the first time watching it....couldn't stop laughing!
Goodness knows how many reactions to this brilliance I've watched. Your response as the sketch unfolds is without doubt the best, great to see two people who understand what's going on!
Thank you so much 😀
I started listening to cassettes of these two when I was very young. Such a classic act!
Jerry Seinfield said that this comedy routine is the exact blueprint for a perfect comedy skit. It is perfection. Timing, material and delivery is done flawlessly. Many other comedians agree.
