Sir, if u don't have any business income, then provisions and interest regarding advance tax are not applicable to you But sir, section 234A of late or non-return filing is still applicable to you if u fall under provisions of section 139(1)
Sir, I am a senior citizen. So far I know I don't come in to the preview of 234B &234C. But when I was preparing ITR U I found that ITD is changing interest u/s 234B and 234C. Is it right? Please help me. Reply soon.
Sir as per sec 207 of IT act , a senior citizen having income from profit and gain from business or profession, even after above 60 years of age, then section 234B and 234C shall be attracted. But if not having income from PGBP then 234B and 234C not attracted
i received pay arrears in 2021-22 for months july, aug, sep 2021 in Feb 2022 i.e. arrear is also of same financial year. but while filing ITR, i am being penalised under 234B & 234C for improper distribution of tax in Q1,Q2,Q3 &Q4. How would i know in advance that i will get arrears in February. so how would i distribute tax evenly in all quarter.? can you reply? Is there any solution to avoid penalty?
