  • GST will be one of the biggest taxation reforms to take place in India once the Bill gets the official green signal. The basic idea is to create a single, cooperative and undivided Indian market to make the economy stronger and powerful. The GST will make a significant breakthrough paving way for an all-inclusive indirect tax reform in the country.

    Dear Sir,
I shall be very thankful if you send me the presentation on GST in Hindi. Why I am asking for the same the reason is that I am an CSC in Distt. Mohali of Punjab and people understand Punjabi/Hindi. This presentation you have prepared is very good tool for educating the people to create awareness and features of GST in local language. Looking forward for the same.

Builder is asking for 12% GST in outstanding amount (will be funded by bank as loan) after 1 july.Even now 88 percent work done already. Registration of propert has been done in Nov2016. Already paid 4.5% ST and 1%VAT whole amount. So now have to pay (12-4.5-1)% on outstanding amount. Is this leagal to pay?
I have heard builder should pass on ITC(another term for people like me who don't understand it).
    How to challenge builder this?
Is there any specific gst component defined?
Please guide in good direction on this as per customer point of view?

Biggest Change that GST has made to India is - More Freelancing & Employment opportunities for CA's or CA like Experts with monthly fixed income due to regular customers filing GST returns thrice... Congratulations... !!! Kindly start charging lesser than before... It will be an inevitable expense, which the Central Govt should have paid us as compensation!!

TN is said to be the second highest tax collector in India and if the money is given to central govt(tax money) then who will pay the interest got on the money over a period as the central govt pays the money after some duration. the ammenment have said that the loss would be incurred by the central but they didnt mention the time period??????

    hello sir,
i have one question is as follow :
you mentioned that for SEZ they have to pay GST and then can claim refund. They should also have to raise invoice with GST.
Example : product A selling price RS 100. GST@20% so they sold products at RS 120 for export. They pay Rs 20 to govt towards GST then after they can claim. They also will receive payment of rs.120. Is it possible that double benefit will get by SEZ ??

Look at the above link which is corruption perception index. India stands on 79 number all across the world. In spite the fact that the Indian CA exams structure are the most toughest in the world. India is one of the most corrupted country, though they are smart chartered accountants in India. I would rather say they are just mediators of corrupt structure.

Sorry. This is supposed to be tax technical session. The speaker talks 50% too much about PM, Vajpayee, BJP Congress etc. Unacceptable approach. There is no place for pulling political punches in educational sessions. The speaker should be advised to keep politics out of the discussion. No cheer-leading or mud slinging in the garb of imparting knowledge.

GST will ruin India much more than Demonetization. Ill effects of Demonetization lasted about 4 months, but the ill effects GST will last for ever until it will be abolished. different parts of India are different. GST is against the economically weak states. It will have the same effects as that of TT Krishnamachari's Freight Equalization act of 1956, that had ruined Eastern India and benefitted only Southern and Western states.
Modi should get rid of Jetley at once. He is trying his best to discredit Modi.

Conditions make what GST is! They are the most important thing. [Read fuckin law] You shouldn't be able to pass 'ITATTI Academy' bill calling it GST. Some easy to understand facts:
    1. GST is for BOTH goods and services what VAT was just for goods, you could've just expanded the definition of goods to include services. You'd not need GST.
    2. Both state and center can still levy multiple taxes, even after GST: that means what now is entertainment tax can become movie tax, music tax or so on. We are hoping that they won't do that. But it's just hope.
    3. The small business will lose out when they'd have to file multiple returns submit invoice level data to the government which is already prone to delays and corruption. Remember how sarkari departments work?
    4. He says the poor will be well-off because of 40% on purchase of Audi will come to government. No fuckin logic here. But the rate on the Audi has come down to 28% from 40% after GST.
    5. You don't know Hindi or English or the Law.
    6. Nothing ever gets cheaper.
