As a San Diego native who swore them off when they left for LA, I was left teamless but luckily one of my best friends was a Kansas transplant, and I decided that I'd join her and her family and become a Chiefs fan. Growing up my closest friend was a Broncos fan, his older brother was a Chargers fan, and his older brothers closest friend was a Raiders fan, so I ended up playing as the Chiefs in the Madden franchises anyways, and what could be better than watching my new team beat them all twice a year, right?
Then they drafted Patty, and the rest has been history more or less 😂 when my team abandoned me, I found a new home with the Chiefs, and I want to say I appreciate all of the content you put out helping keep up to date, and making me feel an even stronger bond with the team I now cheer for.

@robert maine Yeah, my friend who is still a Chargers fan likes to call me a bandwagon all the time, but I hopped on when I wholly anticipated them being the same team they'd been leading up to that point, which was a perpetual wildcard contender 😂 no hate to Alex Smith but Patty Mahomes definitely brought them to the next level. I always say I got in at the perfect time because I remember watching Mahomes before the draft, and being on the hype train when the Chiefs drafted him. Hopped on this train at the perfect time!
