Great vid! Love the mpx for uspsa and steel challenge, maintaining gas system is a must, ordered a couple of extra gas plugs from ILWT so I've always got a clean one on hand
Nice! I watched Kelly Neal run it at Arizona State PCC championships. He said it is very accurate. Let me know what you think once you get it. It is pricey for me, I think it is around $3k, so I will not be reviewing it. The Sig is under $3k with optic, trigger and mag well. I have not shot any other PCC flatter than the SIG MPX🔥
@@rickmace9404 yeah, i totally get the price point is a major turn off. I'm just a fan of roller delay systems haha. If it's smoother than my sp5 i'd be very impressed.
Thanks for the vid. I have one of these and have only taken it out a couple of times. First time it ran well for around a 200-300 rounds. Then the malfunctions came. Took it home and cleaned it and took it out again and the problems were worse. Mis feeding. I had a ton of Winchester 115 grain so that was what I was running. For a gun this price, I figured I could shoot anything out of it and it would run. Am I mistaken? What grain and brand do you recommend? Also, I noticed a substantial build-up inside the ports of my suppressor. Do you have any idea what that is all about? Sincerely, Dustin in KC.
Same issue with mine. You have to keep it pristine. I've been thinking of polishing the inside of the upper because running it with a suppressor, the gas blowback gets the inside of that chamber very chalky. However, when it does not jam, it is everyone's favorite at the range. I have used Winchester 115 and several other brands - all brass. I have often thought it was the mags, though I use only factory, 2d Gen mags. But over time, what I see is the BCG not cycling completely. It is worse when running it with the suppressor.
@@luchramos1137 124 grain Blazer and other heavier grain 9mm solved the problem. Mine does NOT like 115 at all. Super smooth to shoot. Like butter. Almost unbelievable....
I'm trying to find an MPX right now. I'm new to USPSA and you're right about not going back to the range and shooting at a static target. It's almost like a waste of ammo. I've been shooting in carry optics division but I want to shoot PCC. Love the magwell and I see the advantage to a second optic mounted at 45, but how is the the Magpul stock better than the factory stock?
The factory stock is really thin, I personally didn’t like it. Try it out for a while, maybe you don’t mind the stocked one and that would save you $100
I shoot 135 grain blue Bullets, but only because I have a shit load of them. A lot of the guys I know are shooting plated 147gr and it is flatter than mine. if you are going to buy bullets, get the Federal Syntech 9mm Luger Ammo 150gr. I’ve seen a lot of shooters that don’t reload shoot those(shoots flat)
ordering my MPX. The parts kit is smart! Thank you! JP are very expensive.

got the same MPX kit from Robert. love the personalized touch.
Great vid...Shot a friends MPX yesterday...Wow what a flat shooting PCC rifle it is...
I preordered the JP5 back in June or so. They're using the roller delay system.

My guy could already hear the angry derp mob coming for his second red dot and headed that one off at the pass.
I love the MPX! Especially since the MPX is lefty friendly.
Awesome vid! What model trigger are you currently using?
Hiper touch Eclipse is the trigger I use
I have hiperfire and timney triggers. I go timney.
Thanks for the vid.

Great review man!! How often do you clean the piston?
I clean it every 3 matches, 400-600 rounds. I might clean too often, but I want to make sure I don’t have an issue in the middle of a match.
@@rickmace9404 thank you for responding!
Could you do a video of how to field strip and clean properly?
I’ve been busy with work lately, but I’ll try to do one.

You’re too tactical for me lol 😂 👍🏾nice video
do you notice the hammer from the hiperfire eclipse hits really hard? i feel like mine is starting to chip away
I have not had any issues or ever heard of that from all the competitors I shoot with. Majority of us use hiper fire.
What does the accuracy look like on your copy?
Sir whats your load ty

Have you had any issues with the TTI Stock Adapter coming loose? Mine has come loose on me about three times now making my stock move while using.
I’ve shot a shit load of rounds through it and I have not had it come lose. Sorry, find out what the torque should be and make sure it is tight enough
Did you run it in a match before the mods? Any issues noted before the changes? Thanks
No problems before I changed out the trigger. The only issues I ever had was loading my rounds too short and neglecting to clean the gas system
What did you get for your charging handle?
I didn’t change it out, it is stock
Bullet ? Bullets ? What is this, 9th grade. Just call it ammo or a round. And your prob with a modified magazine has nothing to do with the rifle....
