@ZealFork for me it does not feel like Avengers, it feels like a group of people wearing the custom of avengers and pretending to be avengers. First of, hulk is too weak, hulk can be taken down by simple small robot is absurd. Same goes for Thor and Iron Man. There is nothing iron man about iron man, there is nothing Thor about Thor.

In a recent documentary, Crystal Dynamics said their original idea was to create a single player story where you constantly switch between characters with different gameplay and level design. Basically a bigger, more refined version of the final game. Imagine how good that would have been.
I couldn't disagree more on some of the major points. 1) The Kamala story was the downfall generally imo. If they replaced Kamala with Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange, or Vision. If they would've Added Dr. Strange, SW, Vision, and Ant-Man as DLC instead of Ms Marvel, Kate Bishop, and Jane it would've been exponentially better. 2) Impossible to think that at the Highest Levels they all feel the same. I call BS on that. Iron-Man, Hulk, and Thor dominated the favorites for a long time. Then Hawkeye came in and was OP. - There were less liked characters like BP, Kamala, Cap, Widow at times. So they Had to feel different to people. - Zero % chance that Cap felt like IM. IM players usually stay airborne. Where as Cap stayed pretty firmly grounded. 3) Although not the best Spider-Man could've been, at the Highest Levels he was pretty amazing as far as combat survival and speed. I wouldn't consider him slow at all, unless you're comparing him to Thor or Rocket IM in their OP days. 4) Just because combat buttons are similar doesn't mean they all do the Exact same moves. If that were true Every computer game character would "feel the same". 5) I agree that if it had a setting like Spider-Man Ps5, that would've been pretty amazing.
It’s obvious he didn’t play the game. Complains about loot so much. It’s no way he came close to a 150 character. Not CLOSE to 185. And that’s ok. But these reviews are kind of weird because the game had several faults, I have never seen an actual review of things that caused it to fail , other than copy and past “oh it’s live service”. But ppl want solo only. With Kamala. Then complain that their are not enough op characters. But you want to play a entire Campaign with a non op character in Kamala…..and say it’s the best…..And iron man and cap feel nothing alike. Idk what this guy is talking about tbh

Even creators for this game had nothing better to do for about two consecutive years except make video after video of “oh the game is sooooo buggy. The game is bad. Leaks here. Leaks”. Just trash posting and rumors they made up. It even continues after the game died. Just a lot of people trying to dunk on bad game
No marvel is the best multi player hero game better than ultimate alliance X-men an people is comparing marvel avenger to what game it sound like to me you didn't play avenger bc the hero do not play the same or feel the same the reason this game fail they didn't want it to be A pay to play game it consumer like you that compare the game but to what it Classic
Having bought this game on launch, I only picked up this game again after the devs shut down live service and opened most of the items. It's way cooler now, the characters feel more powerful and I go straight to War Zones only. I don't even bother to play the Campaign.
the thing that annoys me the most is that I cant really get into the "groove" of the combat. I'll be dodging and parrying flawlessly, but it'll only affect the single enemy I'm fighting at the time, and there's like 5 enemies all doing different un-parryable and undodgeable attacks all the time at random intervals. no doubt because of the live service aspect
Recently, some modders actually found files regarding unused content left over by the devs in the latest build. There are also, I kid you not, remnants of Spider-Man in the PC version of the game. The modder soon got a cease-and-desist warning by Crystal Dynamics, who probably don't want to get into trouble with Sony. I was hoping that this game would find some semblance of life in the modding scene, but I guess until the game gets delisted for real in September, it's not safe to mod just yet.
I tried coming back to this and wandered a prison ship as Iron Man with no map or HUD for like an hour with no clue where to even go. No waypoints, no hints, no tips. WTF even is this. It's like they took all the worst things about Destiny 2 and tried to make an Avengers game in that vein, but without any of the big long campaigns that you play as single player and open world aspects. Whoever forced Crystal Dynamics to waste their talents on this, should quit game development and never ever make another game.
As someone who isn’t super active on the game it’s sad to see it’s coming to an end, at the start I thought this game had so much potential but I guess it just didn’t work out, nonetheless I think they’re handling this end very well, letting everyone have everything free is something 99% of companies would never do
The characters all play differently, the gameplay is really good, the issue is the terrible story and disrespect to the original characters as well as the live service aspect. Kamala khan sucks, that’s the biggest problem and there should have been more places like in Ultimate alliance.
Having just combat is not bad at all. Devil may cry is all combat but it does combat very well. The avengers game was the opposite it tried to do too much at once and was mediocre in all of it
When this game was 1st advertise I was really excited about it But once I heard that they were locking away spider man character from xbox players and PC I decided to not even bother with this game I'm not going to pay full price for a game that I do not have full access to all the characters. Nothing made me happier than to see this game flop. Serves them right for doing exclusive content for PlayStation. Stop with the exclusive content if players paid full price everyone should have access to everything
@@fantapro23 Sony does not own spider man they just have the movie rights. , Toys, clothing , Merchandise Sony doesn't get any of that money. They get money from the video game because that's their studio Disney can very easily choose another studio to make spider man

Insomniac/Sony got license rights to make games for Spider-Man and the X-Men (Yes, Insomniac's Wolverine game is a PS-Exclusive, surprise, surprise. No, Sony does not own the whole rights to the X-Men), Square Enix got rights to make The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, and EA got rights to make the Captain America/Black Panther WW2 game, etc, etc.
