Listening to her and watching her is pure joy. I have grown up listening to great music all my life and there has never been anyone like her. Amazing! I really could listen to her all day long and I'm really a metal head. I love original great artists and it don't get better than this.

The entire EP has been ground breaking with her mixing of genres. Focusing on the ‘70s and ‘90 R&B. With soul, jazz and a dose of hip-hop. Some have compared her to Lauryn Hill! You should listen to the EP in order. It tells a story of heart break and empowerment!

*Why Angelina always performs barefoot*
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Now I am The Fool was my favorite. I considered it her best ever. Until I got to listen to the next ones in her EP. "Fire and Rain" and Diamond. They are something else.
Wonderful reaction Jacqueline and I listened to your comment about her resembling Elvis so much. When you play the video back for yourself watch closely because there is a moment when Angelina's expression with her mouth is EXACTLY the way Elvis expressed himself while he was singing.

all original i cant decide which is the best song. the whole ep is such a masterpiece and so well written by her i can only say she is outstanding and by far the best singer of this decade and diamond is an even bigger surprise I have never experienced in my whole life that an EP only contains number 1 songs, each of the 6 songs is a hit and worthy of a Grammy, I hope that Republic Records will finally start the promo engine and it will be played on radio and TV, only UA-cam is not enough. The crazy thing is that she said that the EP with 6 songs is a small selection of over 100 songs that she has already written, which gives hope for the future that we will be surprised with even more beautiful songs

Thanks for that brilliant reaction. I agree that Angelina is of the same musical tree as Amy but, as you indicated, she is her own person. Another persona she carries is Billie Holiday and, also, Etta James. Her songwriting, her appearance, her theatrical talent on top of her absolutely gorgeous voice makes her # 1 in my book. Jaqueline, I'm with you in everything you note and say about this song and video. You really "get" her voice. Don't wait. There are four more songs. Each offers a journey of surprising vocal and rhythmic twists and turns. The album which is heralded by this EP is expected to drop sometime during the Fall, possibly around that September 22 concert of hers in New Hampshire. So, I would react to the audios (the hair and flowers move) at your own pace, but possibly in order. It is a sumptuous spread. I truly enjoyed hearing you react again. Grandma Ellen, mesmerized.

Angelina, not only are you among the greatest singers in the music business, you are also one of the greatest lyricists in the business.
After about 3 weeks of listening to these songs I’ve decided to re-evaluate all the songs, as a result of my reevaluation the list has not changed. All of the songs on the EP could by number one. The first thing that I’ll make clear is that this is my opinion and as time goes on I may change my mind, but here goes.
The top of my list is ‘Diamond’ - ua-cam.com/video/qQjxAKAHSgs/v-deo.html - this is a very powerful statement about the real start of her career.- she seems to be saying that the past is gone and this is my future.
Next is ‘Fire And Rain’ - ua-cam.com/video/3sfwns8w6gM/v-deo.html - in this song she is saying that she is strong enough to face the future, and as long as the Angels stay by her side she will grow stronger and stronger.

Next is ‘Good In Goodbyes’ - ua-cam.com/video/zyIJguL1ZH8/v-deo.html - this is a recovery song. There has been a bad relationship, but she has learned from it and it has made her stronger. The symbolism in these lyrics are almost as good as in ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’.
Next is ‘Now I’m The Fool’ - ua-cam.com/video/8BXCVY_-RmU/v-deo.html - this is a very sophisticated look at someone being jilted. I hope it wasn’t Angelina. She is so good at expressing the emotions of others that I don’t think it was her, however, the end of the song is so powerful it may make you reconsider.
Next is ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’.- ua-cam.com/video/1U6WY_z8Vu8/v-deo.html - the personification of Love asking that even though she is placing most of her attention on her career she is asking Love to stay with her. These are the most sophisticated lyrics, I’m sure a lot of work went into this song.
The last song from the EP is ‘All My Fault’ - ua-cam.com/video/z-a9Qetfp74/v-deo.html - though I this song, the last on the EP, it’s still an excellent song. This is an apology for a love gone wrong, and she is asking for another try.
The major comment for all the songs is that they are all great. She not only has one of the greatest voices, her lyrics are sophisticated and impactful. Her previous covers and originals are excellent beyond belief, but they don’t approach the quality of any of the songs on this EP.
The songs that come the closest to this EP are ‘You Say’ and ‘Million Miles’.
I want to make clear that the above comments and evaluations are my interpretations of her lyrics. I want to reiterate that in my opinion Angelina and her songwriting team are among the best in the industry.

She’s a musical prodigy according to her mother, she has been singing 1 years old. She loves jazz. There is no genre. You can put her in simply because she is awesome. She takes any song and make it her own. She sings with her soul and it touches your soul. This is not to take away from any artist, but this child is a musical prodigy, and as she’s getting older, her sound is so mature that it’s unbelievable.❤

All 6 songs on the EP are originals and all great. The first song Love Don’t Let Me Go was released as a single a few months ago and has a video. Not sure if you reacted to that yet.
I highly recommend that you listen to the remaining 4 songs from the EP. There may not necessarily be videos being made for all the songs so most reactors are just reviewing the visualizers.

I think you should carry on with the EP as well. There is a total of 6 songs with this EP. The first song Love Don't Let Me Go. Was also released aprox 2 months ago. The older lady in the car with Angelina is Angelina's Grandmother, if you didn't already know.
Rest of the songs are all fantastic. It will be interesting to see which one you love the most. Some Reacters have not got a best as love them all.

From these 100 or so songs. She is dropping her album in September.
Might be around the 12th as this is also when she is holding the first of her concerts to kick off her world tour.

Such a great reaction, Jacque! I was especially impressed by how quickly you picked up on the lyrics and sang along. You’re the first reactor I’ve seen do that so far! Angelina has no way to go but up from here on. Did you catch her Elvis lip curl? I don’t think she did it on purpose, but it just happened, and as you said, it reminds us of Elvis! Please watch the rest of her Old Enough EP-don’t wait for the videos. The songs are all so good, and they will probably only be improved if she makes videos as well for them all. You didn’t mention her hand and arm gestures, but to me they add so much. Hopefully she’ll loosen up even more in the next videos. Thanks again!
