I might just not be very bright BUT I seem to listen to each of Dr. Dallas' messages 7 times on average to gain the depth and application of his teaching. What a Brilliant teacher!
I’m constantly listening and re-listening. There is soooo much I just cannot wrap my mind around yet I am encouraged, intrigued and delighted not only by what he says but the way he says it. 😊Such peace and tenderness in his confidence in and understanding of God.
His dear friend, John Ortberg, had said during one of their q&a roundtables that there should be a book, Dallas for Dummies. We are all so blessed by the anointing on this man. I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it here, a more Christlike man I’ve never heard or seen. Comparable? I’m sure but surpassing him, nay. A gentle, humble man who realized he wasn’ lt getting Acts like happenings so he went back to the drawing board. Maybe, like Paul, he communed with Jesus Himself in the desert. Whatever it was, probably a combination of Holy Spirit and something else, we are blessed to hear his teaching. Shalom
Dallas at his best. A concise, intense presentation in 39 minutes of most (all?) of Dallas' themes concerning living cooperatively with God in his way of doing things. Makes me want to -- and intend to -- make my life more and more like Christ. The benefits are awesome. An absolutely amazing presentation. Thank you. Woohoo!
Yes, as he said about Paul and his Colossians letter esp 3:1-17...he backed the truck up and unloaded. We have found something wonderful in Dallas and his life service.
