Oh that site at Kettlepoint is my jam. Nice and wooded. I definitely want to rent a canoe and get out on the lake. Love all the water in this park. Ah camping in the rain. A local distillery? Let's Go!!! A beautiful walk through the woods. Those views of the lake and the fire tower are epic. Nothing like a little beach time.
another attractive spot with loads of hikes and greenery. Those mosquitoes though! Wow! You know they are bad with you have to cover your head with a net!
Murder chickens?! 😂Y'all have stuff up in Canada that I've never heard of before. Love Alan's weather commentary. Good job using the rainy weather to drink beer!
Good lord these places really are so beautiful and have an immense amount of awe-inspirjng views to offer! You always tend to travel to the most beautiful places!
The park look so amazing made me miss Yedigollar in Turkiye, I love the beach and roaming in the wild, while camping is always best thing to enjoy raw beauty of nature
I do like all of the trail options at this park...but not all of the bugs! The fern gulley area on the first trail was so pretty, but good to know that it turns into a bouldery hike. No shade? No problem! ☔ Glad you both were able to still enjoy the water!
The bugs were a major pain. But I guess that's what you get in northern Ontario this time of year. Yeah the hike would have been more up your alley from the adventure standpoint. Shade is always a plus for Alan 😎🤣
@@TheAverageTourist there are times of the year here in Florida when the bugs are a pain too :( it is a trade off for enjoying the wonderful outdoors sometimes.
@@TheAverageTourist Definitely helpful. We spent 5 days at Earl Rowe last week based solely on your recommendation and loved it. We'll absolutely go back there - thank you!
Oh boy sounds like I would need to bath in bug repellent there. Mosquitoes love me. I can stick the tip of my finger out the window and get bit. And good tip on the insect net for hiking. Also I love that you found a distillery to pass time while it was raining.
If possible i would have own the Campground and work from there. Practically not feasible but Restoule provincial park seems to be a beautiful place to camp, Lots of information on your experience, lots of water access and its very easy if the campground has a store inside. I hope you had lot of fun during your camping.
The park is beautiful with a lake nearby, ideal spot for camping. Yes the disadvantage is having insects around. So, one needs to be prepared for that. Cute animals there.
I just dropped by because I have seen an inlet to Restoule River on the French River, I've been going up to the French since 1959, at that time the fishing was phenomenal and you could actually keep what you caught. Sadly, for me, you didn't even mention fishing. Next time you use a Mosquito net try wearing a wide-brimmed hat under it.
We were there on the Canada day long weekend. I think later in the season is better bug wise from what my husband mentioned. He used to live in North Bay.
What I have gather from other UA-cam videos is with the fire tower trail u should of went the other way up and came back down the same way I heard that way is much easier compared to going up the way u did and doing the full loop
Good tip. I think it was just not a trail for us. We aren't adventure hikers, and my husband has a knee injury, so we usually stick to easy to moderate trails. We were just hoping for a miracle 🤣
@TheAverageTourist lmfao .. hey thank God for UA-cam videos lol I bet you'll have to visit sleeping giant doing the same thing I heard it's like a 8 is hour trip both ways to get to the highest point in ontario at sleeping giant p.p
The mosquitoes that many of the northern Ontario parks this year are somewhat out of control. We invested in thermacell I tell you it’s the best investment we’ve ever made.
For the most part we hadn't been up that far north so hadn't got our thermacells out, but we did pretty quickly and they do help a lot. Plus we got a bug zapper for at night with a blue light that attracts them. ⚡️ The mosquitoes and biting flies are bad this year!
Hope you enjoy a glimpse of this lovely northern Ontario Park!
My husband and I usually do this park in the fall. Less bugs and beautiful colour
Great tip. I would prefer less bugs and the fall colours 🙌
This park looks great. It's a shame about the aggressive mosquitos, but the beach looks like a great place to relax and chill out.

This park truly an experience

Sure looks like a nice relaxing provincial park...very enjoyable tour and review. Bruce and Otis
Thanks very much! We enjoyed our time there 🙌
Awesome video, awesome park!
So good 👍

Very Loverly park!
Thanks!
I’m impressed with the boat launches - they look really easy to launch from. Yeah Alan he brought the umbrella! How were the bugs at the beach?
Hello my friend 🙋🙋🇨🇭
Tank you for charging 👍👍
Very Very good ❤❤❤❤
I'd never know you've only been camping for a year - you know exactly what to report on and hit all the information we need. Thank you!
Oh, thanks for saying that! We did a lot of research before we started to try to learn the basics. Glad it can be helpful!

Always loved the look of parks in Canada, they look amazing. Great video and enjoyed coming along with you!
Glad you enjoyed
Great tour! Such beautiful trails 😍😍
Greeting from Malaysia 👋
Very nice place to visit. Welk captured, well narrated and you have provided all minute details properly.
Thanks very much!
Thanks for the tour and review of Restoule. You gave some great details.
Thanks for watching!
Very informative and good source of information for a novice camper. Also, that's a very nice area to explore... 🙂🙂.
Thanks very much!

The mosquitoes are the same with my husband... any millimeter of skin exposed and they are on it! The Distillery was a fun find!
@@TheAverageTourist it’s so crazy! It just have to do with blood types because some people attract mosquitoes and some don’t.
Love your videos! Very informative, interesting, fun and your easy on the eyes ;)
Thanks for watching!
Another great review and report out. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!

Thank you, we really enjoyed camping there. It was a lovely park, and the scenery was just beautiful. Would have liked a bit more in the store.
Great video Sara!

Yes, it's a beautiful park, and we enjoyed the water. The bugs were bad, but we had a lot of bug spray.
Enjoyed it again
Thank you 😊
This is brilliant!
Thanks!

Which month was this trip? Is bug issue getting slightly better in different months?

@TheAverageTourist hey at least u got out and did some of the trail, that's what matters most
We tried!! 🤣 thank goodness for youtube, we were able to see the video and photos from the top at least 🙌
