@Vino he did! 😂 I found it weird too given how heavy a lot of their back catalogue is. Maybe he meant heavy in content as in lyrics, but that's what he said.
Slaytounge look iowa was an amazing album my favorite but they were all on drugs, drinks and hated each other. I don’t want them to go thru that again. Look we both like slipknot so let’s agree to disagree
Truly. I was to the far left of where this dude was filming from. And to think we were locked down 2 short months later. I wonder what countries missed out on that tour.
They’re all kicking ass but god damn did Corey quitting smoking really help him. Just compare his vocals now with his vocals in the .5 era. Fucking amazing
Corey was talking to some reporter, I forget who, but Corey said he doesn’t use his scream that he normally uses now for this song. He mentioned Iowa and unleashes a half-Iowa scream that won’t hurt his voice but sounds badass.
Even though I'm not Portuguese the first and only time I saw Slipknot was in Lisboa, I will always remember VOA and my summer in Portugal ! You guys deserve to have more big names touring 🤘
@@sams6s That makes me happy man, you can watch any show from Slipknot on UA-cam, but you watch the videos on this great channel from the Lisbon show and it´s a whole different vibe, portuguese crowd always delivers with sing alongs, moshpits and circle pits, it´s amazing, the Trivium gig was amazing as well that day.
If any band member wasn't able to play a show, we wouldn't be able to play. It wouldn't feel or sound right........ DJ spends the song playing on a conveyor belt.
Honestly, he's absolutely killing it here, I'm kinda shocked at his vocal recovery. It's not often you see someone have a "glow-up" in terms of vocal ability as age goes on. It's a given that people will get less range/stamina and of course he isn't the same, but compared to a few years ago he's really stepped it up. It's like Devin Townsend, when he was younger he genuinely sounded way more strained singing/screaming, nowadays he's damn consistent.
@@yurelldetorres1071 damn. sorry to hear. it's probably the last time they will play in the philippines. would you say random working class people can afford a ticket or is it an event only for the rich and wealthy of your country?
@@Kyoko_02 I can't hear shit though, I want to watch their live performances and actually be able to hear each individual like I can when I actually go to a concert but the audio is just garbage
I was there and the audio in the 3 Arena has been bad for basically any heavy metal or rock music. I've seen Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Ghost, Behemoth and Slipknot there. Every band had the same issues with either the highs from the guitar piercing over everything else or the drums/bass drowning out any intricate parts. Then vocals are hit and miss throughout the entire set. It's not each individual band as they are all amazing but it's the setup in that arena is not suited to the type of music. When Slipknot supported Metallica outdoors in the RDS, the sound was much better. Seen Metallica 4 times all outdoors and the sound is not even in the same category in terms of quality. On the flip side, brought my daughter to Ariana Grande and Anne Marie last year and I do have to admit the sound was crystal clear. It's the acoustics of the venue unfortunately. This is the best and closest to true audio I've heard of the concert so far.

Solway really brings out that old iowa corey scream
Probably because it's a personal song for him
It really does! He said it's the heaviest song slipknot have ever written in his opinion. He gives it socks. Fucking deadly! 🤘🤘
@Vino he did! 😂 I found it weird too given how heavy a lot of their back catalogue is. Maybe he meant heavy in content as in lyrics, but that's what he said.
IAmMine Idk man. There are some really heavy ass riffs in this song. I would not say Solway is heavier than Metabolic, but it’s really really close.
@@ryanbollinger1759 yeah I agree

I haven't really liked any of their stuff since Iowa so to me they are back.
Slaytounge well u do realize what they went through in the making of Iowa?

Jay in fukn beast mode!! Whole band is ABSOLUTELY sounding incredible!!

Hey, Jay is adding his own little personal flair into all the songs. Good for him.
He created the drums for this song lol
I love this concert but I kinda miss Sid's crazy dance moves and antics
Same, but I think he's reached that point where he can't take those impacts anymore
