It's a detail, but the fact that items can be covered with blood is a nice little addition.

the way you felt when you missed the ion capacitor, i felt the same in the lair of the blind ones when i missed one satchel charge and had to go back and find it
Nice playthrough and commentary! I love this game, it was my first FPS ever on PC, I've never had an N64. A little fact I found out on my last playthrough of the remaster: if you shoot the hiding biobots with the charge dart rifle, they will activate and be in stunned state, and you can kill them without any risk. ☺️
A little addition: the elite guards are able to turn invisible just like the Endtrails. Great Walkthrough man. As a kid me and my best buddy always tried to finish level 1 on N64, we actually always got to level 2 but the controls were soooo tricky. So glad they remastered it for PC. Plays really nice.
What makes no sense to me is that the Primagen, the owner of the Lightship, is too large TO FIT THROUGH ANY OF THE DOORS. In fact, in most rooms he would have to crawl, being such a tall fu**. Unless he lives in like a few tiny rooms and never goes anywhere on his own ship ... leaving it all to the robots.
50:33 That’s what I’m stuck on. How do you manage to press the button on the room at the right when the other door closes due to timing? I had a difficult time getting through this part.
The switch inside one of those rooms opens the door to the other, but you have to be quick. Strafe-running should definitely help. If you're still having issues, I would try letting the door close behind you before hitting the switch in the room. With enough tries, you should get it! It was pretty much the same case in the N64 as well, to my recollection.
Been playing along while watching your walkthroughs, which by the way have been consistently awesome. You have a good voice and very calming demeanor. Levels 4,5 and 6 were terribly confusing, I wish you had made it more of a habit of bringing the map up incrementally, instead of looking at a wall or closed door saying “this way over here is level progression, but first were gonna go this way...” Because, my dude, I had to backtrack through your videos so hard I almost got a stroke. Please use the map more, if you ever get the option in any other walkthrough
Even if you turn-off Look Spring, it'll still auto-center when moving forward or backward. That makes the N64 so much harder than it needed to be. I mostly liked this level though. Some of the death pit stuff super sucked. I enjoyed using that ammo and health stash at the beginning.

By far the best walkthrough I found, thanks

The maps in Turok 2 always hindered me more than helped me, which is why I never used them :P
If you go back through the portal as soon as entering from the hub the first time, you go straight to the boss fight, surely this is not intended?
Oh I'll definitely have to see if that happens to me next time I play through it lol
