As you probably have noticed there's quite a bit more audible wind noise compared to my usual recordings. I apologise for that. The Street Triple's sound is difficult to capture with my old backpack method because its exhaust is down low and thus very far away from my sound recorder. Plus, the seating position which is slightly bend forwards also exposes the backpack to more wind. This not so ideal result here actually motivated me to work on improving the sound recordings for my future RAWs. I've tried a new method for supersports (Fireblade, CBR600RR, XSR900GP, Daytona 660) and could improve the results significantly already. Your ears can look forward to these! And still, I'm experimenting even further with different bags and further wind noise protection. Stay tuned and please accept my apologies for this not so great sound recording of a truly great machine!

Remindes me very much on last year‘s GSX-S1000 video. Same track and the streetie gives the same wobble of the handlebar on the straight through the forest . Little bit less pronounced but I guess you were accelerating harder and speed was higher back then on the GSX. Or is it due to suspension components. Anyway … from watching the two videos I would say those two bikes are very close … so is the price … @schaaf … what is your opinion on that?
Find dich absolut genial 🤝🏻
Immernoch verliebt in meine 2009er streety.
It's funny, the Street Triple was my dream bike when I still had my first motorcycle. And then I kind of got distracted by other bikes and never bought one. But my favourite Street Triple I've ridden so war was a stock 675 from 2016 or so. The '21 RS I've ridden was extremely precise and working brillantly, but somehow, the the older one was more fun. PS: It's 2024 and that rev-counter still blows.
I know they are completely different classes, but is there so much difference between Tiger 900 power delivery/ handling-wise except soft suspension? Do they have some common elements or completely different worlds? I currently own a Tiger 900 GT Pro. It has good quality(and super comfortable) but does not have the same excitement as my old bike (R1250R) so I am thinking of switching to striple rs or Duke 1390. Duke probably be way too powerful for the real world but don't want to be in the same situation as now.
@@Schaaf I'm constantly confused. I remain undecided. I think I'll decide on a whim and jump into either one. By the way, there is no problem with the sound of the video. Nice road nice riding nice record. Be safe 🤞
Same reason why I switched to adv bikes and maybe even cruisers. I just don't want ride fast everywhere. And bikes like this street triple just pushes you to go fast and it's almost impossible to ride at touring pace and actually relax.
How would you compare it against the duke 890r? which one would you choose if you can keep only one? :)
Waiting for your take on Aprilia RS 457
striple RS looks so AMAZING especially in red. That makes me kinda regret to buy my matt black mt-09.
I wouldn't regret an MT-09 ;)
@@Schaaf I have it now for ~1 month ~4k km and tbh, suspension and brakes are ass, that is the only bad thing about the bike.
But thats were triumph got it 100% right, öhlins and Brembo brakes are a unbeatable combo ihmo
Would you pick this over the new Ducati Monster?
any chance of Daytona 660 ?
great video
later this year, yes
I was just waiting for someone to tell me it’s okay 😊
It’s a pleasure to listen to this video. How do you record the sound please ?
thanks, read the description
Remindes me very much on last year‘s GSX-S1000 video. Same track and the streetie gives the same wobble of the handlebar on the straight through the forest . Little bit less pronounced but I guess you were accelerating harder and speed was higher back then on the GSX. Or is it due to suspension components.
Anyway … from watching the two videos I would say those two bikes are very close … so is the price … @schaaf … what is your opinion on that?
Find dich absolut genial 🤝🏻
I´ve a 2017 rs and .....oh my god!!!!!
Nice!!!
Brilliant bike, with the right mods it can be a great long distance tourer as a solo rider, just so much vfm👍.
Absolutely!
Only the display.. everything else: perfect imho
agreed, it's not very good!
Immernoch verliebt in meine 2009er streety.
Thruxton 1200 RS! ❤
OK
What do you recommend z900 or street triple r ?
You are a very good driver Schaaf 💯
thanks a lot
It's funny, the Street Triple was my dream bike when I still had my first motorcycle. And then I kind of got distracted by other bikes and never bought one. But my favourite Street Triple I've ridden so war was a stock 675 from 2016 or so. The '21 RS I've ridden was extremely precise and working brillantly, but somehow, the the older one was more fun.
PS: It's 2024 and that rev-counter still blows.
indeed it does
Hey @Schaaf, if you compare this and Ducati Streetfighter V2, which one would you choose and why ? :)
CB500 PC26
Damn Triumph has got it down! Love that triple sound and feel. Have you ever tried the Tiger 1050?
yes, RAW coming this year!
Compared to Moster SP, Duke 990 and MT 09 SP? Which one do you prefer? And why? Thanks and great vid as usual!
CB500 PC26
I know they are completely different classes, but is there so much difference between Tiger 900 power delivery/ handling-wise except soft suspension? Do they have some common elements or completely different worlds? I currently own a Tiger 900 GT Pro. It has good quality(and super comfortable) but does not have the same excitement as my old bike (R1250R) so I am thinking of switching to striple rs or Duke 1390. Duke probably be way too powerful for the real world but don't want to be in the same situation as now.
definitely nothing in common except for the number of cylinders
striple rs or the mt09sp?
whatever you prefer
geil geil geil !!!!
danke dir!
Bro, I honestly would never go that fast in the middle of the woods, an animal can come out of nowhere at any moment.
765 rs or duke 990? Cornering, fun, adrenalin? Good ride, thanks ..
very different concepts, both are absolute fun machines
@@Schaaf I'm constantly confused. I remain undecided. I think I'll decide on a whim and jump into either one. By the way, there is no problem with the sound of the video. Nice road nice riding nice record. Be safe 🤞
Same reason why I switched to adv bikes and maybe even cruisers. I just don't want ride fast everywhere. And bikes like this street triple just pushes you to go fast and it's almost impossible to ride at touring pace and actually relax.
yup
How is the performance and handling compared to a z900, since both output about the same HP?
the Z is friendlier, better for a daily. The Triumph is sharper in all aspects
how does this bike compare to streetfigher v2 and mt09sp love to hear your opinion
would need to have a direct comparison to make a verdict
@@Schaaf like ride them all one after the other? bc i think ive seen your vids of riding each of the bikes
Meine Ohrläppchen wurden gezuzelt
hahahaha
Xsr900 or this one?
🤔 LG Uwe
Come on, Schaaf, you're not too old for that, you are just a bit wiser than your younger self. But still as awesome :)
(I hope you are going well!)
Slt Kiddo!! I definitely am too old for that and I consider that a very good thing ;) Best regards from Vienna!
I absolutely adore this bike dude, but i have the same issue as your younger self. I don't have the money for it...yet. I'll stick to my MT-07 for now and we'll see about it in the near future i hope.
best of luck!!
Original Auspuff?
When you test cbr 1000 triple r??

Sehr nette Runde! 😊👍
Habe die gleiche Maschine, meine dritte Street Triple in Folge, ... und du hast recht. Gemütlich fahren damit ist echt schwer! 🤪
Dank dir!
How do you blurr speed? Which app?
adobe premiere
i drove this bike last year and R also but this RS if i had the Money would have bought it on spot.
understandable!

@@Schaaf Alright bro.....Pardon me for I didn't knew about this yet as I discovered your channel few months ago.
Just if you ever get a chance....make sure to don't miss.
I Love watching your RAW rides 💓
