I tried to give you the best run-down I could for each bit. I go into a lot of detail and some parts can drag on a little. Sorry about that.

just wanted to say, i just discovered the existence of this mod just few hours ago. Playing SOC, for me also has been a steep learning curve for me which made me frustrated but created fond memories. After many years, although i may forgot how to play it and also considering Anomaly might be different gameplay wise, i can happily say that i am prepared to encounter this learning curve again.
As a long time STALKER fan, I can say that this was a great intro to Anomaly! Clear and concise!
After playing countless hours of Call of Chernobyl I finally moved to Anomaly and I was lost! Thanks for the tutorial
for some reason i cant seem to find the mutants. can u help, they dont seem to spawn

What is there to like, who have time for all that repairs and all bullshit, you can play this game for a whole week and have less progress then you have in some games playing for just 15 minutes !!!!!!!
@@overtaxed3628 First of All everybody has their own Taste. 2nd you can tweak all settings in the game to progress as fast ad you want.
Video is a great help, never played Stalker before.

Never played the game, but always heard the name growing up. Well, seeing the iconic box art anyway. Never knew how much I loved Russian post apocalyptic style games (stalker, metro, tarkov) couldn’t figure anything out in this game 😂 walked outside after accepting a quest to gather tools, some random guy strolled through a gate of the military base and unloaded on me. I ran to a building and bled out. Now I’m used to Tarkov at this point but man was I not expecting to die in a starting zone 😂

The damage is so pitiful once you get better low tier armor to mid tier armor (like the sunrise)
Should I know any of the lore or play any of the previous games to really get a grasp and totally enjoy anomaly
I wouldn’t say it’s necessary, but it certainly does help to play the original games.
Id say it helps most with learning the maps, and there’s reoccurring characters you’ll see

Anomaly containers are complete anti-canon bullshit added by those Misery types. All the actual Stalker footage shows them handling artifacts with their hands.

Shotguns are super meta
Ammo is cheap and plentiful, and they’re useful everywhere

i can't even take on boar.i need some real help.any go to stash or a more easy task then boar?
I keep dying to the ground pounder anomaly in the great swamps. How do I get past it? I am clear sky
If you press the '6' key, you should bring up a bullet casing or bolt. You can throw those around to see where anomalies are.
What I do is I throw them and follow them. If they hit an anomaly, you'll see it. If they don't, then the path is clear.
Had to use the 2D PDA menu. For some reason, the game crashes if I am viewing the 3D PDA for longer than a minute.
That's pretty weird. Luckily they do still have the 2D
What spawner engine/trainer do you use?
It's just the debug menu built into the game. You enable it via the launcher, and press F7 in game to open.
Hey man noticed your game looks tremendously better than mine, I got a i3 10100 with An RX5600 XT gaming and 16 gigs ram, do you think I can pull it off?
Yeah definitely. I run the game at 2K and Medium settings with a reshade. I have a 10th gen i7 and the RX-5700XT.
When there's little around, the game hovers around 100 FPS, and dips into the 50s when things get crazy.

Fanatic just dies from Boars when trying go to the boar training objective I’m playing on easy too i don’t understand
Easy fix is to look for the “invulnerable companions” addon
I play with it all the time cause companions usually just get in the way
The other option it be 1337 like crazy and destroy the boars before Fanatic gets near them.
What mods do you use for Nature, ground trees plants
None usually
I have resolution at 2K, and most graphics settings at medium. I also tend to use PROSPERITY reshade, but that's mostly it.
How long are the days in this game and is the weather dynamic?
As far as real-time goes, I'm not 100% sure how long the day-night cycle is.
The weather is entirely tunable however. You can completely customize it.
is there any option how to create stash using backpack? Like in Call of Pripyat...
Yup, same way you right mouse click on the backpack in your inventory and click create stash

Just tried it, bit confusing and hard, got jumped by some mutant dogs i think it was ran at me fast and i died instantly :)
Need to figure out how to get the pda to that level i hold it far from my face and not as close as you do in the video.

To hold the PDA away from you, hit the Reload button.
I have mine mapped to my mouse button, and that's what I hit to do that.

@@BerraLJ Greater armor helps you a lot. If you find yourself dying too often to mutants just buff up rupture resistance. From being almost 2 shotted by pseudodogs to tanking 3-4 of them with mid-tier armor.
@@Clint_Beastwood87 Yeah i bet but at the time i barely know how to move forward/backward had like 7 minutes in the game :) well ok i played the original game a few times but this one is harder.

You can use the description to skip to the Lab X8 chapter
If you want to see how I got it
Or you can enable Debug Menu in the launcher, and use that to spawn the documents in your inventory.
You’d hit F7 in game and use the item spawner. I don’t recall the specific documents, so be careful. Make a save before in case you spawn the wrong ones, because you can’t remove quest items from your inventory.

Unfortunately none, I made that one myself
Why do you throw the bolt into the anomaly? Just to see where it ends ?
Anomalies react to the bolts. So you can tell where exactly the anomaly is by throwing the bolts.
Helps you navigate anomaly fields and such

Fanatic just reminds me of a Sontaren from Doctor Who LOL. Anyone else?
I have 200+ hours in Call of Chernobyl. I moved to Anomaly recently and it seems more tidious and... empty. AI on hard just aimbots you trough objects (if they see your toe, they will scan your head trough objects like crates or sheet metal). Amount of items is fkin overwhelming even after 20 hours of gameplay, concussion/bleeding screen (red and black) is driving me crazy everytime i take a bullet which is guaranteed in combat. Difficulty curve is mega wierd. When you start, snorks fart can kill you, and getting geared makes your life easier. Approaching mobs don't have any footsteps sound, just growling from time to time. After 20 hours I still don't know what items i should keep, what gun I should use in the end. Im running AN94 + TOZ (TOZ is lyfe duuuh) cuz an's double fire feature + PSO is super effective for distance peaking with AP bullets. In the end I'm still getting snipped by some cyka blyat gopnik with makarov & adidas shirt from 200 meters away. I'm giving this mod chance after chance and I still can't see how is this the mod of the year 2021 and 2020. Fellow stalkers, what do you think?

What Anomaly is to me is a playground. A sandbox. Every single aspect of the game is customizable and tunable, whether it’s a physical setting in the game, to mods/addons.
A lot of what you mentioned can be changed.
@@WaveysGamingAdventure Population of mutants and stalkers can't be changed above 1 in options sadly. I'm still getting grips with this mod and I will still play it for some time.

Better than the pip boy... At least the pip boy lets you set objective markers to follow. When I track a task theres no mark that pops up on my minimap to direct me to the location Im about to just delete this game. Its such a basic function for an rpg and the lack of it makes the game unplayable especially with such a huge map.

@@WaveysGamingAdventure The guide is dope and useful non the less. It would have been nice to talk a bit about other variants of PDAs though. Like the PDA 2.1, PDA 3.0, PDAs enemies drop from time to time...

is this needed? if it is then i call the mod a fail, since they couldnt communicate how to play the game to people
the mod feels too linear Like I remember when I played Stalker call of pripiyat I can explore a whole world and gave me choices on how to complete my missions but this is a little annoying that you have to learn all exits to play normally and the fact that it forces you to go a certain road full of anomalies when you could've just gone around them is so frustrating. Saves a lot of headaches.

I run the game in 2K resolution. Automatically makes the game look better
