    The cost of these would be partially offset for some by the fact you wouldn’t need any cotton balls.
    Amy- you are the master at walking through ideas in a logical and connect the dot fashion. 💛

      @amysscentsandsongs  2 роки тому +1

      Patricia, you are too kind, I don't know about that but thank you.
      For me, the cost is just about the same as cotton balls. If I compare the cost of the cheapest cotton balls I buy from Walmart (even more expensive from Amazon), those cost a penny apiece and are small. I usually use 4 to 5 of them in a standard round dish, more in the larger dishes. I also use one paper towel across many dishes as I follow up the cotton balls, to give a final wipe - a small add.
      One of these parchment cups costs slightly more than a nickel, so the cost per dish changeout, for me, is just about even - plus much less aggravation!
      Maybe there are cheaper cotton balls to be found than a penny apiece, though. They start getting so small at the lower prices and then I end up using more...🤷❤️💞

      Hello Ky, thank you and I hope you will enjoy the parchment cups.
      I've continued to use both the large and the small parchment for several weeks now and am very pleased. I have had the odd bit of seepage from a few cups in my third box but the amount was minimal. This is still my favorite option.
      Please let me know how you like these If you decide to use them.

    A brilliant suggestion Amy! I’ve tried heavy waxed cupcake liners but found that with lower watt warmers my wax didn’t melt completely. I didn’t think parchment paper liners would hold up but glad to hear that they do. I’m guessing that because they are a lighter material than what I was using my problem with unmelted wax will go away. Can’t wait to try them 🙂.

    • @amysscentsandsongs
      @amysscentsandsongs  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you Diane and that's interesting about the waxed cupcake liners. I was also concerned about the waxed kind sticking to the dish. I was shocked and thrilled that the parchment didn't leak after 48 hours - and yes I think you're right, the fact that they're so lightweight really lets the wax feel the heat. Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words, Diane! 💞❤️

    I only have one clear glass warmer (Scentsy In the Clouds) but the parchment cupcake liner, which lets light shine through, is an amazing idea for it. Thank you Amy!!! I guess I should have mentioned before that the multicolor foil cupcake liners I order in bulk from Amazon are described by customer reviews as being very sturdy (I agree) and do not come with any sort of removable paper liner insert. In fact, the interior of each liner features a parchment-like lining but is a part of the cupcake liner itself. I can certainly see where the Reynolds cupcake liners sold in grocery stores would not be up to the task of melting wax for very long. The ones I use are definitely more sturdy. They can be peeled away from hardened wax and reused, but I typically just throw the cooled wax and liner out in the trash once the scent is gone from my wax. I am not sure if you have seen them, but there are for sale reusable, cardboard liners designed specifically for wax melting. They have a slippery plastic coating that prevents seepage and makes it super easy to use and remove hardened wax of all types. They don’t absorb much fragrance odor or color in my experience, but they are disposable and wear out after a while. They are relatively inexpensive these days, come in a range of color options, and I really like them. It is definitely easier to pick them up out of a hot warmer dish because they are quite rigid, unlike cupcake liners. They, too, are available through Amazon. But I am definitely going to get some of the genuine parchment liners you demonstrated. There are so many great, time saving options these days!

    • @amysscentsandsongs
      @amysscentsandsongs  2 роки тому

      Carol, you are brilliant! That's two more ways to do it! Would you happen to have links to both the rigid foil ones and the cardboard ones? I can add them to the description up above. The rigidity of the ones you describe is an attractive feature. Thank you so much for sharing these, Carol!! 🥰🤗❤️

      @carollange5940 2 роки тому

      Oh wow, I was wondering what happened to the links I sent. Oh well! 😂 The other type of liners can be very easily searched for. They are just called “reusable wax melt warmer liner trays”. They are for use with electric/bulb style warmers only, no open flames. There are a number of different brands, and some have more of a bargain price than others. I would just shop around and compare to find the best deals, desired colors and cheapest shipping.

    Thanks for sharing Amy! What a great idea. I will definetly try the parchment liners. I tend clean my larger warmers using the hot-dump method but you mentioned you could reuse the liners, so I might try that. • @amysscentsandsongs

      No effect whatsoever on throw - the parchment paper is very thin. These are used for baking so it's essential that heat be able to travel through them. Great question. ❤️🥰🤗

    Because I've been on a keto diet for 2 yrs now, I actually have some of these in my cupboard (in theory, I was going to make pumpkin muffins last fall using almond flour, which sticks madly to paper cups - hence the parchment ones). I also have these fabulous clear/white silicone cups that look identical to your white parchment. I can't seem to find them online - I bet they stopped production during the covid crap - but they are made by Wilton. I have a couple of warmers that are very similar to yours here in that they are glass & have that other-worldly top white dish. These Wilton cups look fab in them, as does your white parchment. I'm going to have to get on Instagram so I can share photos.

      @@amysscentsandsongs I hope they come back into production. Solid white ones can be found, but these are clear/white so they really do look fabulous.
