I've been using them for years. You can also apply a coat of carnauba wax after you clean then to make it easier to clean the next time. Also. change your brake pads to Lyndall carbon Kevlar. it will almost completely stop the brake dust that trashes your white walls. Best thing I ever did for my white walls.
Thanks for your comment and yes this is easy way to keep these tires looking sharp. Dont apply a lot of pressure just light scrub with minimal pressure will do the trick.
Get rid of the factory brake pads too. You can get Lyndall carbon Kevlar pads that reduce brake dust to almost nothing. I did it a few years ago and it was one of the best upgrades I ever made. By the way. they call me Clean Steve.
Thank you for sharing this. I actually had these Lyndall pads but they didnt lasted long but yes I was on the Tail of the Dragon where I was braking a LOT. What you see on this video where tire was dirty was actually dust from these pads after 2500 miles trip. Not sure what to make of my experience as I always heard positive reviews about these pads.

Oh this is nice tip man. Thanks for sharing the carnauba wax option. Anything that can help with this clean up is good to know
Thanks for that input
Great video . Thank you very much .
Excellent video. Great tip for whitewall owners.

Hi Art. Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna replace the tires on my road King with white walls. Could you tell me what size and brand are your tires?
I use Dunlop OEM rubbers
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Mr Clean works amazing!
I was so happy to discover this as I thought this could be my last set of white wall tires otherwise
Bleche White available in auto parts stores. Spray on, let soak a few, wipe lightly with a sponge, hose off.
Thanks for watching and sharing additional tip. This sponge works magic on other parts of the bike like rotors for example to make it nice and clean.
I badly need this video. My whitewall tires are turning yellowish. But those Mr. Clean pads are too expensive here in our country. :(
One pad will do both wheels if used without much pressure just go gently as if you push to much it will damage the pad faster.
You rock brother
Thank you so much for nice comment and watching. I am glad I can help someone out there.
Great tip 👍
Works like a dream for real
More time for me :) 💕
