So for a lot of us folks interested in the non profit path, can we get a yes or no on the following question: Can you earn enough to make a living being a non for profit daycare center board member?
How you get voted of your own business? Do they TAKE your business if you get voted off? Or do you just shut down your daycare or continue as a sole proprietor?
Sounds exhausting... like hoop-jumping, handshaking-backbreaking, cult-collaborating, and potential shaky negotiations and clique affiliations. I don't play those games. It gives others too much power over you. YOU ARE NOT A BOSS... you are hanging on by a rope or puppet strings. Thx for the info!

Really? This one guy trying to charge me $1500 for every grant he writes for me

The grant writer can not be paid from the actual grant itself but can ask for funds to do the work in advance for their time.

You use your for profit to handle the money and marketing, etc for your non profit. Two different entity's working together.

lol, it does sound exhausting but i think it depends on your perspective, knowledge as a "boss", and confidence
