भारतात सुरू असलेल्या सार्वत्रिक निवडणुकीच्या वातावरणात ज्या गोष्टीवरून रान उठलं आहे ते म्हणजे खाणं- आहार. हो हे खरंय! कोण काय खातंय, कोण कुठल्या जेवणाचा व्हीडिओ शेअर करत आहे हे सगळं आजकाल निवडणूक प्रचारसभांमधल्या भाषणांचा भाग बनत चाललं आहे. गेल्या काही वर्षांत देशाच्या अनेक राज्यांमध्ये या जेवणा-खाण्यावरून वाद झालेत. नुसते वाद-विवाद नव्हे तर हिंसाचारही झाला आहे, ज्यात जीवित आणि वित्तहानी झालेली आहे. त्यामुळे सहाजिकच या जेवणा-खाण्यावरून राजकारणही तापलंय. पण तुम्ही काय खायचं आणि काय नाही हे कोण ठरवणार? कसं ठरवणार? खाण्या-पिण्यावरून सुरू असलेल्या राजकारणाचा निवडणुकीवर खरंच परिणाम होतो का? याच प्रश्नांची उत्तरं शोधण्यासाठी बीबीसीचे प्रतिनिधी नितीन श्रीवास्तव आणि व्हीडिओ जर्नलिस्ट देबलीन रॉय भारतातल्या अनेक राज्यांमध्ये फिरले.

हम पांच हमारे पचास हाच यक्षप्रश्न आहे. आनंदी देशांच्या यादीत तीन कोटी लोकसंख्येच्या आंत असणारे देशच अग्रेसर आहेत. चीन प्रमाणेच कठोरपणे लोकसंख्येला आळा घातला पाहिजे.

भाजप ने सत्तेवर आल्यावर ' लोकसंख्या नियंत्रण कायदा ' लागू करण्यावर भर द्यावा.
एक महिला दोन संतान, हा नियम जबरदस्तीने लागू करावा आणि हा नियम मोडण्याऱ्यावर अत्यंत कडक शिक्षेची तरतूद करावी.

In non-veg food category
In fact most Indians have their own cultural roots as cow is not eaten. Since Muslims do not eat pork. While pork is also eaten by many people like the Chinese. So it is better to respect Indians at large
If we consider non-veg in India as any type of meat. Then if someday pork will be served and slaughtered openly then this will also be a very bad situation for Muslims. Then if logic is meat then ultimately it is meat.
They are actually dictating the in every thing like what to eat what to wear what to speak. it's completely violation of basic structure of Human rights.

वास्तव में अधिकांश भारतीयों की अपनी सांस्कृतिक जड़ें हैं क्योंकि गाय को खाया नहीं जाता है। चूँकि मुसलमान सूअर का मांस नहीं खाते। जबकि पोर्क भी चीनियों की तरह कई लोगों द्वारा खाया जाता है। इसलिए बड़े पैमाने पर भारतीयों का सम्मान करना बेहतर है// अगर हम भारत में नॉनवेज को किसी भी प्रकार के मांस के रूप में देखेंगे। फिर अगर किसी दिन खुलेआम सूअर का मांस परोसा और काटा जाएगा तो यह भी मुसलमानों के लिए बहुत ख़राब स्थिति है। फिर यदि तर्क मांस है तो अंततः मांस ही है😊

Discrimination on the basis of food between Hindus and Muslims is incorrect.
BUT, it's not a correct statement- "Don't tell anybody what they should eat."
There are various aspects to consider while you eat animal based food-
1. Animals have fully developed brain and nervous system, they can feel physical pain just like humans.
2. Animal based food is not environment friendly, especially to feed huge population of India. Animal agriculture requires much more land and water resources, compared to plant based food.
3. Animal agriculture has many folds higher CO2 emissions compared to plant based food.
4. Fishing is killing marine ecosystem of the world.
The thing is even if you say discrimination on the basic of food between two communities is wrong PPL will still do that ..the funny thing is 70 percent Indian population is nonveg but they labelled only us as non vegetarian...
do you have the right to kill an animal that has a fully grown nervous system and brain
