A few days in the life of a professional ballet dancer! It's been a while since I've shown you my ballet days and luckily my schedule is starting to pick up. I have classes and rehearsals but I also showed you guys how a ballet dancer trains and takes care of their bodies on their off time. I hope you guys enjoyed the video. I love you guys, Ciao.
XOXO,
Tristan

I love hearing you speak German. It‘s really cute 😅
It’s so bad 😅
@@TristanSimpson Nein ich spreche deutsch und höre mich selber beschissen an ich finde dich echt gut und wenn du es selber nicht gut findest dann bist du nicht der einzige
I’m not a ballet dancer 🤣 I knew nothing about the world of professional ballet dancers before watching your videos, but find it so fascinating and different from my experiences in life. Thank you for sharing it with us. Also you are so freakin’ cute ☺️
The only thing that exceeds your awesome dedication to your growth and development is the joy of being a ballet dancer you share with the world. I absolutely cried when you said you got the contract.
Congrats on the contract! You have worked so hard for it!
"comment down below if you’re not a ballet dancer" me sitting here rubbing an ungodly amount of tiger balm on my Achilles from rehearsal earlier 😭
Freaking me everyday lmaoooo
im not technically a ballet dancer but I've watched all of dance academy (including the movie) so I can't touch my toes BUT I can say random french words related to ballet
AHHH ME LOLOL I LOVE THIS COMMENT
@@raetvnetwork 😂'pas de deux', 'jeté,' 'Ethan smells like xmas'🥐🥐🥐
Long live dance academy 😄
Loved thisssss, missing dancing cause Canada is still in lockdown, but seeing you live your dream makes me 😊
When you are having a down day and you see Tristan posted new video and the day suddenly is bright and sunny. Thanks...congratulations on your contract you worked so hard for it.
Congratulations on your renewed contract with Stuttgart Ballet! It gives you a better chance to improve your facility with the German language ... the longer you spend there, the more fluent you will become. Plus you come across as someone who genuinely enjoys ballet, and so I am glad you get to continue doing what you enjoy! Alles Gut!
okay new comfort youtube video. the music, the montage and i also feel like you talk to us as if we were besties so i really enjoy that
Congratulations, this gives me hope to see you on stage at Stuttgart finally....
this video is going to come under my list of top aesthetic videos. period.
That is tremendous that you got your core contract. Seeing the work and discipline you carry out in exercise and eating right is inspiring. It is great that you have found a career that you enjoy so much and share with us on You Tube. I can only wish the best for you in Stuttgart to continue to enjoy your life and work.
Just started live ballet classes again since the UK lockdown is lifting... you have kept me going through all my ups and downs and wanting to quit. Tristan, I’m so glad you made me stay in love with dancing!!! Now I’m back in the studio I realise how much I missed it. Inspo king 👑 🙌🙌
Congradulation! I am happy that your dream to become a ballet dancer became true.
Congrats on signing your contract !!!
Thank you!
living abroad and no one talking about the hard part!! this is so true!! thanks for talking about that!
Manage taxes in abroad is horrible! I feel you. I'm in same situation and it makes me crazy. I work in neighbor country but still ... So complicated everything 🙈
It doesn’t need to be this complicated 😂
@@TristanSimpson tell the government and tax offices! 😂
im soooooo glad for you being in the company for real now. for lots more seasons to come at stuttgart
Congratulations on your contract!!!
I was watching Gabriel and your tiktoks for so long without realising that you guys both work and live in Stuttgart, which is like 25 minutes away from where I live. I would love to see you on stage!!! I hope everything opens back up soon. Can‘t wait!
as a competitive dancer i can confidently say, petit allegro and agagio are the two things i hate most. grand allegro and turns is just my personality trait in ballet really.
I hate petit allegro bc I’m horrible at quick little movements like jumps, I can barely do a royale bc I always get confused (keep in mind it’s my second year in ballet)
Can't relate. Adagio is my favorite part of class. I HATE pirouette combos.
pirouettes are the best. I have a weird hip (so no splits) so I can't win in grand allegro. Petite is just something that gets worse REALLY quickly I find.
I HATE ADAGIO but I love me some petit and grande allegro 😎 I love to jumppp
Tristan, congrats to your contract. That is so good. I am happy for you. Good to have you here for another year.
So that means, I have to go to Stuttgart and develop some interest in dancing and not just the dancer ;-)
your videos are 100% my comfort videos
Awww thank you!!
I finally do ballet again after 10 months, it's online which is a little weird but I'm so happy to finally be dancing again. Thanks for inspiring me 💕
I am not a ballet dancer, but I love how ballet dancer are so committed, positive and worship their bodies.
I feel so positive when I watch ballet videos.
Congratulations!!!!
So happy for you.
Continued success.
Can't wait to see what happens next.
That theater is absolutely amazing I would love to dance on that stage 😍
12:02 AND Alex's socks! Mix'n'match! Way to go!
Can totally relate to the anxiety of making phone calls and the relief when no one answers and you can leave a message 😂😅
Thanks for posting Tristan!! Video was entertaining and relatable as usual!
you’re living my dream!
Mine too.
Congratulations on the new contract - wish I could see the new ballet
Congratulations on getting your contract 🎊🎉🍾
Nice to see you signing the contract for next year. Shows structure and direction in your life. Got a little tingley for you . Guess that sounds a bit creepy..lol. Just happy for you in this uncertain world at the moment
Soo happy you got the contract! Yay! All the best from Michigan. :)
Congratulations on your contract!!! Well done!
Off topic but I really love hearing people speak German :). My mother suffered a stroke and can no longer speak her language- it’s wonderful to hear.
I'm not a ballet dancer but I love your vids!!
Me too 🤍
So happy and proud of you. Please take care be happy and safe in all you do. Hugs.
Bravo 👏! Congratulations on the contract.😍
Our Billy Elliot!🥰
Enjoy your Stravinsky. Apparently, muscle marys back in the day, worked out so much that when they went to basement clubs, they couldn't walk back up the stairs, and had to lift each leg in turn to climb back up. No spring in the UK either.
So happy you got a contract, hope you have an excellent year,😎
CONGRATS ON THE CORE!! So proud!!
congratulations on your core contract tristan! congratulations 🎊🍾
Supper happy for your new contract pal. Congrats!
Congratulations on getting a full contract!
loved this, congratulations on your contract!
I normally do my stretching to you vids and it's so soothing
I am sooo not a ballet dancer and I respect the heck out of my dancer friends. Athletic icons.
Congrats on your contract Tristan!!
His double-speed explanation of the contract process made me laugh! His enthusiasm is infectious! After watching several of Tristan's videos, I found myself wishing that these self-video options had been around when Roberto Bolle (my favorite male dancer) was the same age. Would have been fascinating to see what this great danseur was like at that age.
Your German is literally the cutest!! When you ordered your food especially^^ I mean it’s quite good, but still
That's a beautiful city.
Hi, I think your videos are amazing and insightful. However maybe your audience might like to know more about your 'down times' and how you lift yourself out of that. How do you balance your mental health with the rigours of your schedule. AMAZING you now have a contract !!! xxx
Thanks for sharing!! So interesting! Good luck!!
Congratulations. Well done Tristan. Can't wait to be able to see you perform in person one day but as I live in Australia that may be a while yet.
can't wait to see your career grow ❤🥰
I’ll never stop commenting this, I LOVE ur videos!
You look so happy . Your hair looks on point.
Hi I’m a competitive dancer and I’ve been dancing for 10 years (I started when I was 3 in Minnie classes) you are such an amazing dancer and I hope that one day I can be professional like you!!
I'm so happy for you. Not many people can live their dreams but you can and that's a huge thing 🙆
Not a ballet dancer, but I took a class in college. Love hearing about all the ballet details
Pickles are sometimes called gherkins in US of A.
Congrats on your contract. Keep living my dream of what I might have been and done. \
You're an inspiration.
Omg I miss going to ballets so much. I live in Germany and before Covid I loved to go to ballets exactly where you dance
In germany we (at least where i live) more often say instead of "guten Morgen" just "Morgen"
You gave me motivation. Now its time to get outta bed.
Congratulations!
Congrats on your new contract!!
You speak from my heart, I am living in Austria I am also a dancer and I can relate to everything so so much!

I’ll try it!!
i am sooooo jealous of your streaching range!
Took me like 5 minutes to realize what you said at 4:58... EDEKA ... ädäkaahhhhhhh hahaha
I’m catching up on your videos , Congratulations even though it was 2 yrs ago it seems. ❤
Congratulations on the core contract that is brilliant news.
Congratulations on your contract This was a wonderful video. I love the personal summary at the end ❤️😊
Nice. Glad you hear about the contract but not really surprised. Yes, living abroad has its challenges but it is really not much of an ordeal. Even in the US, there are lots of things that have to be taken care of with the government.
PROFESSIONAL CONGRATULATIONS 😊😂📷💜
I subscribed to you because you inspired me very much during this blog ;)
i laughed when you said you forgot what a cucumber is called. haha
Sounds like you may have shin splints, hun!!! 👀 Owie!!
Definitely see physio, but in the mean time, go out and buy those little disposable paper cups that are usually kept in bathrooms to rinse your mouth w after brushing or take medicine w, like the Dixie brand - just don’t know what the brand would be in Germany.
Fill the cups up w water, put them on a cookie tray and lay them in your freezer to freeze. Once they’ve all frozen, you can take them off the cookie sheet and put them in a ziploc bag so it doesn’t take up as much space & they’re easy to grab and don’t end up falling all over your freezer!
After you come home for the day or any time you’re having more trouble and pain, take a cup and peel back the lip of it until it exposes the frozen ice popping out of the top like a push pop. Then you’re going to give yourself an ice massage and rub that ice up and down your shins, w pressure to work everything out, as well as right beside the shin - on each side. Warning, this is going to hurt if you’re doing it correctly- it’s not fun at all and is very painful, esp if you have lots of shin splints or they’re really bad! 🙊
You’re going to want to do the ice massage and rolling for a bare minimum of 15 min each leg, but longer is better.
While it may hurt at the time, it does provide relief after you keep doing this regularly and you’ll really feel the benefits when dancing....but even just standing, walking, etc!
You’re also going to want to make sure to thoroughly warm up, making sure to warm your feet, ankles, calves & legs really good (well, warm up everywhere really good - but you know what I mean, warm up your legs more than normal and stretch more than normal!) before any classes or rehearsals and esp before you do any jumps - even if you’re still in class, give yourself a mini warm up in the back while the first group is going or when the teacher is giving the combination or whenever you can basically!
You’re also going to want to stretch A LOT.....during and after every class and rehearsal, before and after you do any jumps, stretch out your calves and all the various leg muscles you can, every chance you can, multiple times a day - even when you’re not dancing, right before you go to bed to end the day and right when you wake up to start the day!!
There’s really not much else you can do for shin splints! I’ve been retired for a few years now and I still have shin splints that bother the hell out of me.....even doing non-ballet related things! They’re super painful and annoying as hell! So since you seem like you’re first developing them, get to work on treating them!
Also, pay extra careful attention that you’re getting your heels all the way down when doing any jumping and that you’re not popping your heels at any point! This can make shin splints even worse or actually cause new ones!!
Merde, hope this helps! Don’t let them get out on control, you’ll regret it - trust me!!
Hello! It's my first time watching your channel and I love it! I find your videos aesthetic and relatable. I used to be a ballerina dancer but quit, haven't danced for 2 years lol
