This runs slower than the version I remember from the _Everything's Archie_ vinyl LP, yet sounds more natural. I've read that the Archies' songs were often sped up for release. This seems to be one of the more extreme cases.
My parents had a 45 rpm EP including this song. As I child, I enjoyed listening to it. Thank you for posting it, I was looking for this song for a long, long time.
Oh, Man! I've been looking for this song since they used to put the Archies records on the back of Alpha Bits cereal boxes! This takes me back to those care-free, cartoon-filled Saturday mornings. Thank you so much for posting this and giving me back a wonderful moment of childhood. It is so appreciated.
@puntagordy Hot Dog. He was Jughead's dog, and he is there in some of the comic books. I've always been into more of the comics than the TV shows, because they didn't air the Archies here at the time. :)
Awesome.....my very first album and pound to say I still have it........this song is and always be my favourite.......and you have made all those wonderful memories come flooding back.....Thanks
@Juan321C The sad thing is, they'll probably never get a chance to. With laptops, ipods, PlayStations, Wii and 3D television, the simple, "organic" things of life, have fallen by the wayside. The joys of childhood have gotten high-tech, complicated and expensive. Sadly, it seems that Michael Jackson wasn't the only one whose childhood was stolen. Play the Archies for your girls, and take a bow for remembering...
@starwynde09 I know it's so cliche, but those were the good old days. Getting a record as a prize from a cereal box was deeply appreciated. I'm only 41 and my two daughters just don't get it.
First time I have ever heard it in stereo. Only have listened to the cardboard record version (which I still have) cut from a box of Honeycombs
WOW totally forgot this one! a childhood gem! retro time machine! One of my earliest favorites---that i totally gorgot about. love it! groovy-ness
Can't get this song out of my head. Reminds me of watching the Archie's in the 70's.

First single/album I ever owed! Got it from a cereal box.
This is a really good song!
One year to the day of uploading this, and the count is 900 even. LOL
@joltinjack - Well, it's a little past June 8; however it's been a little over 2 years and the viewer count is 4263. Exponential climb!

OOH! El maravillosos sonido del BASS. Yo, lo escuchaba en casa, allá por 1969, cuando alguien ponía el disco de vinil de 45 RPM!
I always imagine a mother singing
