As an Irish man I have very little to say, other than a great band and a great song. But more importantly you're a very cool dad and your son is very sweet. Love your rapport. Hello from Taiwan.
The fathers heartbreak reaction. :-) I would have went more bombastic for an intro to a kid. Until The End of the World at the Brits.... or Mofo PopMart
Show dude some live performances and my money says he becomes a fan. I suggest All I Want Is You/Where The Streets Have No Name (live slane castle), their halftime performance for the 2002 Super Bowl (after 9/11) and The Saints Are Coming (w/ Green Day live at the reopening of the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina). If those songs/performances don't move the meter, I give up.
Depending on the type of music he's into I wonder if he'd like Bono's son's band more 😂 in my personal opinion they're really good and it's kinda cool to see the young 22 year old offspring of Bono show off the talent he clearly got from his dad
@@CousinRyan just saw them in concert last night! HIGHLY recommend checking them out. The number of u2 fans there was actually way more than I was expecting!
I got into U2 when I was 14 in 2000. Try tracks like Vertigo Elevation Beautiful Day Hold me Thrill me kiss me kill me Discotheque Even better then the real thing Try those track on him 👍😃 Totally agree on the meaning of I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. It’s a gospel rock song.
Ha! I only cared for them up until about The Unforgettable Fire, so I get him. I was more into INXS. I was in Vegas when they were filming this video! My senior year of HS. P. S. Are those Duran Duran Paper Gods stickers on your laptop?! 😇
35+ Years later and Bono hasn't found what he's looking for, I think he should stop looking!! The Joshua Tree was a good album but after that Bono became a "tosser", most Irish/British people can't stand him, I'm Irish btw
That sucks. Joshua Tree is still one of the all-time great albums and they were the biggest band in the world for two decades. Can’t take that from them. I’m pretty bummed about my ancestral friends and cousins can’t stand U2. As an 80’s kid born in ‘77 these boys were a big part of the greatness of that incredible decade. 🤙🏻
I'm Irish too. "by the way". In my fifties. You're in the dissolute braindead minority, most Irish people love U2. Sold out stadiums around Ireland when they play. You're childish propaganda of " most irish/british people can't stand him" does not stack up against the popular evidence. Spread your Joyless life elsewhere. Try better in your life. Being negative doesn't work. Trust me. Oh as a rejoinder, you're probably upset about Bono because you're a chartered accountant and have done you're own " research" :)
Damn good song!! 👍👍❤️

Hi! Thank you for the comment and the kind words! I (we) really appreciate that!😁✌🏻
play him The Fly and shock him
Drowning Man from U2 is also amazing.
The inspiration of this song was the Apostle Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus, and the fallout in his in the aftermath of that event.
Cool!
Play him Streets, Zoo Station, The Fly or Bullet... see if that reels him in!

I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation!😁

@@Joelyne37😁👍
You have to do U2 Until the End of the World its alot darker and more of a heavier rock song and it has an epic guitar solo

Try tracks like
Vertigo
Elevation
Beautiful Day
Hold me Thrill me kiss me kill me
Discotheque
Even better then the real thing

Haha No, but I can totally see the connection to Paper Gods!😄
Has he tried looking down the back of the couch? Or in the Washing machine? ;)
