To prevent being detected you can lie on the ground to take out the guys next to the jeep and it's better to bring a sniper rifle or a rifle chambered in 7.62 with a scope to take out the snipers and guards with just one headshot.
2 quick tips from my personal experience: 1. If u watch his video about the fuel and construction supplies, its a lot easier to escape (theres a chance of getting caught), try not to go on the hill with the big trucks, only the equipment and precious metals trucks can make it safely 2. If u get detected, if your in a private server just leave and relaunch it, and don’t worry about taking out everyone at quarry, you could try, but its super time consuming
For the city humvee I usually go from the back (the barbed wire barrier, you can vault over it) with a M110 and can still do it under stealth, and i extract from where i come from at the back, minimises damage and you get some extra cash in return

A great way for grinding precious metal/equipment is to go to Naval. At the end of the bridge headed to Fort/Naval there will be a section on the right side that doesn't have a guard rail. Drive through that section and follow the hill side close to the water. A sniper may see you on the way there, so when your close enough to the port you can ditch and go prone. It takes a mix of running and going prone to not get spotted by them, so be careful. once your get close to this storage building, there may be a few OPFOR nearby, which you can take out quickly. Inside the Storage building, there is guaranteed to be two precious metal vehicles and one equipment vehicle (don't bother with the Urals, you wont be able to get them back to FOB using this strat) take either of the equipment/precious metal vehicles and just drive them straight into the water (you wont die, trust) and follow the shore when your driving underwater. follow the shoreline until you reach the side that has a house and ramp up onto the shore. After that, just drive to the FOB and your done.
imma set a quick lil tutorial for newer players about this because i've already done a mistake i really did not like... assign as many employees as you can in logistics, you BARELY have any space. deliveries aren't as important, you're not selling anything yet so you can send that one to logistics as well. if you got a employee that you can hire with money and hes great for command, buy him and immideatly assing him to command, he can find greater potential for employees but at a higher cost (very good) you may have to dismiss a lot of older employees since the newer ones become even better and better at the job. training center is not cheap, just focus on extra storage upgrades and the other small upgrades to level up your HQ.

Sitting at 60k cash with my complete outfit, all cars i could get including modded stryker and MRAP, 4 helicopters, GPNVG-18 white phosphor and all guns (not all are full modded cause i usually stick to a M4A1 or an AK anyway). I grinded the living hell out of BRM5 before update (400k refund + a few hours of post-update gameplay) so i watch this purely out curiosity cause i had no idea this existed. A am above the grind and currently at the stage of just larping/roleplaying and enjoying combat with other people in a squad. I might go check it out what's with these FOB upgrades.
if u will manage to u can go all the way to the beach opposite of naval docks seeing to the city aince the cars can drive underwater u can try going uphill then thru city then book it home its tricky bit theres like 6 trucks to choose from in naval if u can make it to the spot. (bridge visible there will be atleast three snipers and few guards u have to take out and it will be tricky to go uphill from the bottom of the sea but it works as long as u dont turn over the truck)
If you have a DMR (like the M110), you can take the liberty to shoot the sniper and the machinegunner who watches the Ronograd tunnel in the face so you can completely avoid detection
Hope they never change the ability to drop into compounds and go riding into the most devastating gunfire there ever was. For the equipment truck, you can drop on that one, just have maybe a vitamin and when you start driving, but go right and then where the Ronograd City tunnel is. Vitamins are cheap so it's best to invest in those.
NOTE: Precious metals only sometimes spawn at the Quarry. If you want a guaranteed precious metals spawn, you’ll have to go all the way to the Naval Base (maybe we could get a tutorial on how to get out of there alive?)
Your HQ, its sort of like metal gear solid system type of thing where you hire employees to do tasks for you (someone said to me you have to be not playing in order for them to work, but i havent known if its true or not, except for the delivery), materials can be used to upgrade HQ or sold for profit, metals gives the most with it being $1,000 per metal, do note that you need a delivery employee to sell them
This is personal preference, but i do not use magnifiers at such range, it's not really necessary and it feel it is more practical anyways, as there is less blocking your fov
They also spot u when ur with someone 💀 like the other yesterday I was about to a solo raid on the city but no some other player came and blow up my cover
Edit: can't find my original comment, but with quarry, simply cu t a sniper with a lot of ammo and long range (I suggest the G22A2, that's what I use), stay along the side of the mountain to the right of the entrance, and kill cautiously kill everyone, take a lot more time, but I'd say its safe, (and more money from stealth cash)

In gen4 they added a Seaflor on the map, you can use this tô drive from ronograd(next where the equipment truck is) tô the naval base, there you can find two precious materials and ond equipment truck, be careful cuz there's a chance tô have some guards, after you get the truck, go back throuth the same path.

Getting the urals is possible through the water route, you just need enough skill to know where and how to get up

what i do is is after i get steal the truck i just exit from behind which avoids being spotted (take out the rooftop rpgs to be more safe)
