The road is the road, its never the same hour by hour, i watch transport videos because my dad was a truck driver and as a kid i often went with him, i suggest most of your subscribers have a similar story, please don't think you're ever boring us, just love sitting in the passenger seat "virtually" and travelling with you 😊 , keep them coming 👋👍
Hi Ben, just started watching Part 2, and you beeping as you drive round bends/corners, reminds me of my dad doing the same way back in the late 50s/early 60s, and its always stuck with me, so when I took myself off to Looe, Cornwall, I had a day out to a peninsula on the otherwise of the river at Plymouth, and had to drive down a lane which was so narrow that grass/weeds on both sides of the road were touching my car (Ford Focus). So I had to keep beeping my horn to warn oncoming traffic of my approach. It was a stretch of road no more than a mile, and thank goodness I didn't meet any traffic, only a car that had just turned on to it from a main road. Whew!!!🤣. I don't honestly know how the local binmen get down them roads as there were cottages along the way. When travelling to Yugoslavia back in the 1990s, we took a wrong turn and ended up driving from Villach, Austria and over the tops into Yugoslavia, heading towards Lake Bled area, and that road seems familiar with all them hairpin bends. I sweated all the way from the bottom to the top of the Julian Alps, and didn't take any photos, my thought being that if I breathed in too much, we would go over the edge🤣. When heading from Reims to Calais (not going past Paris), when you pass the sign for Vimy, and over to your right heading north, through some trees, you can see the Canadian Memorial to the fallen of WW1. Have visited it. Its absolutely amazing, and very moving. Apparently, although the Germans didn't destroy any of the memorials, Hitler order his officers not to touch this memorial on pain of death. In fact, most of the Germans didn't touch any of the memorials. I read one story where a soldier was caught urinating in one of the British cemetries, and he was shot for it. If anyone's interested, at Guines, there's a fantastic campsite on the outskirts of the village. There's a fuel station on the opposite side of the village, in the local supermarket, and I would advise no one that's towing, whether lorry, van, car/caravan, even a motorhome on his own, ever fills up here. You'll get in, but you won't get out. It is so tight. Anyway, a big thank you for a great video, as I look out my window at the low grey rain clouds in Manchester🤣🤣🤣
All good things come to those who wait sir. Its quality not quantity with you Mr Breeze. Hope no-one suffered from claustrophobia in the train 😮Thanks for posting Ben.
Some cracking views there matey, makes me wish I was thirty years younger, quite envious of your lifestyle. Always loved driving on the continent when I was younger.
bellissimo. another cracking video ben. i dont find watching the same stuff boring, i find it interesting. heard your shout out this morning on radio 2, i was on my way to work 🙂
doing so well on time then someone forgot to put some money in the meter! guess it happens same as if a ferry gets cancelled . the scenery you saw though was superb from the plains to the mountains to the sea. thanks for posting and keep those wheels moving...
Hi Ben, made it first again, the camera is much better. You have dialled the setting in. I have driven many Italian roads like those at the start, which can be challenging. Always seemed much worse around the lakes. Keep the videos coming, I look forward to seeing what you are up to.
Brilliant video Ben, I really do enjoy watching them, Thank you for taking us a long! I’m poss one on my own but could never get bored of the videos even if same job 😅 The 360 camera on the front of the truck was fantastic with those views, Amazing! Look forward to the next video! Where are you off to this week mate? Look after yourself take care Ben
Another great video Mr Breeze....about 9 minutes in is lovely scenery....Thank you very much for sharing and i look forward to the next video....cheers
Thank you Ben, I enjoyed this trip and generally following your travels around Europe, please keep on posting, there always something new in your journeys. I often wondered why there are no reversing cameras fitted on the trailers, especially as you have a lot of blind side manoeuvres in Europe, RHD Unit etc, you have a Truck worth at least 150K probably, a good reversing camera unit would cost a fraction of that ?
Another great watch Mr Ben😁 , contents as normal interesting, and the views spectacular😘, really can't get enough. Just one thing can't get my head around, where do you actually come from 🤔 ,I'm convinced there's a slight hint of a Welsh acsent, but it's got something else with it . Make the best of the weekend, o and what happened to the meeting up with Captain Slow😊
Hi David, here goes……Born in Yorkshire but spent from 6-19 in S Wales before returning to Yorkshire. Slow ended up being a day behind me so I couldn’t wait 🤷♂️😂
Hi Ben, nice part 2. Lovely journey and scenery. Your videos are never boring. I just like to hear you chatting away as if We were in the passenger seat. By the way what engine is in your Scanny? Thanks again, take care, catch you on the next one. MARK
I watch all your videos and the views are stunning .want to do a road trip up and down the length of italy mainly , keep the videos going but stay safe , Europe is getting bad with the illegal immigrants trying every trick to get into the uk
Nice one, hard to beat Italy for the secenery👍 how do you get the camera to turn from side to side, is it on a moving stand ? Anyway good video, thanks 👍
Jesus ben 400 euros to go through a bloody tunnel, I nearly dropped my beer. Some of them roads at the beginning looked a bit sketchy. Any chance you could put a map on to show us were you travelling. I have keep going on Google maps🤪. Cheers Ben look forward to the next one. 👍👍
Cheers again Ben enjoyed part 2 ,scenery only got better. Did the delay on the train put you over your hours? Must be a frustration when you’ve got all that way with no delays but part of it all I guess
Good video, shame about the train issues…You getting on well with the 360 i see, can i ask what editing software your using ? I’m currently using the insta app editing part, seems ok so far..👍
Hi Ben, some cracking scenery in this one!! What do you use to pay for the tunnel and the entry fee to places such as Runges Market? Is it on the fuel card or Business Credit card?
With the 4 hour delay in the tunnel how do you record this on the tachometer as you would have been out of hours for driving and work? Are you allowed to drive to Ashford Truck Stop?
im first today ,my mate last year picked up oranges and cherries and other stuff for the uk. On his break he went in the fridge took some fruit for himself and yes he got sacked i have no idea how anyone knew, its weird .Sherralin or ned might know .
I nearly fell off my chair at how much it cost to drive through that tunnel in Aussie dollars it was a gnats fart under AU$650 I hope that is paid for by whoever you are hauling for !
Britain is crap, ive seen a bad crash in france near Charles Deguial 4 cars and a van at 8 AM the police put chains on the cars and van moved them all swept up i swear 20 minutes all done and on my way .
That used to happen over here but because everybody wants to sue for damages at the drop of a hat they’ve stopped doing it & put lane closures in instead of 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️🤬
The road is the road, its never the same hour by hour, i watch transport videos because my dad was a truck driver and as a kid i often went with him, i suggest most of your subscribers have a similar story, please don't think you're ever boring us, just love sitting in the passenger seat "virtually" and travelling with you 😊 , keep them coming 👋👍
Thank you James, that’s a kind thing to say 😃

Hi Ben,
made it first again, the camera is much better. You have dialled the setting in. I have driven many Italian roads like those at the start, which can be challenging.
Always seemed much worse around the lakes. Keep the videos coming, I look forward to seeing what you are up to.

Hi Ben how are you doing ? Your content will never bore me just so you know Pal. 👍
Hey, thanks Ross 👍🏽😃

Because we drop & swap trailers all the time it’s a little prohibitive. Not impossible though 👍🏽
Brilliant video again ben lovey scenery too
Many thanks Bob 😉

MARK
This one’s a 540 Mark 😉
Nice video.
Many many thanks bud.
You’d have been better off on the ferry, at least there’s something to look at when they are delayed. Great vid.
Yeah true Peter.

Cheers Dave mate 😃
Just saw you comeing along Chippingham bypass 345 guess your off over the water
I was buddy yup 👍🏽😃
Top video Ben.
Thank you Shane ☺️😃
Were you in Tesco Doncaster last week?
Not me Steve sorry 😔
I watch all your videos and the views are stunning .want to do a road trip up and down the length of italy mainly , keep the videos going but stay safe , Europe is getting bad with the illegal immigrants trying every trick to get into the uk
Yes we have to be careful.
most enjoyable. Great scenery and commentry. Don't you ship via the boat Dover - Calais - Dover ?
Very occasionally Mark but the tunnel is (usually 🤦🏻♂️) quicker & leads us straight into the veterinary checks & customs etc.
Feeling sea sick with this camera
Sorry bud ☺️
Nice one, hard to beat Italy for the secenery👍 how do you get the camera to turn from side to side, is it on a moving stand ? Anyway good video, thanks 👍
Thanks John. It’s an Insta360 camera that records full sphere then you edit afterwards. Amazing bit of kit but I’m still learning ☺️
Great videos, but you should be called anyway instead of breeze 😊
I like that 😃😂
Jesus ben 400 euros to go through a bloody tunnel, I nearly dropped my beer. Some of them roads at the beginning looked a bit sketchy. Any chance you could put a map on to show us were you travelling. I have keep going on Google maps🤪. Cheers Ben look forward to the next one. 👍👍
I keep meaning to & then forget. Good point though 👍🏽
Cheers again Ben enjoyed part 2 ,scenery only got better.
Did the delay on the train put you over your hours? Must be a frustration when you’ve got all that way with no delays but part of it all I guess
No I think I was OK but they gave us a letter stating exactly what had happened in case there were problems later.
I dare say if anything went wrong there those barriers by the side wouldn't have a hope of holding your truck from going over the edge
Absolutely no chance 😱
have you got your cam in your hand?
For certain bits yes.
Good video, shame about the train issues…You getting on well with the 360 i see, can i ask what editing software your using ? I’m currently using the insta app editing part, seems ok so far..👍
Cheers Nick. Just the in app stuff atm mate.
What is the raised section to your right heading north looks a bit like a tunnel of some type before aire st julienne?
Not sure mate tbh. I’ll try look closer next time.
Hi Ben, some cracking scenery in this one!! What do you use to pay for the tunnel and the entry fee to places such as Runges Market? Is it on the fuel card or Business Credit card?
Cheers Jim. Rungis we use our personal cards & reclaim it but for the tunnels we have a special card that the Co pays.
Do you have a company card for them tool booths?
Hi, no we have a device fitted in the windscreen of the truck that activates the barriers & charges back to the Co. Great question 👍🏽
With the 4 hour delay in the tunnel how do you record this on the tachometer as you would have been out of hours for driving and work? Are you allowed to drive to Ashford Truck Stop?
That’s exactly what I did & they gave us a letter explaining exactly what had happened for the enforcement officers.
Did you choose that route, or is it a Sat Nav special? looks very narrow.
No mate, it’s the ONLY way in. Sat nav takes you on an impossible route 🤦🏻♂️😃
For €405 they could give you some luxury in the tunnel, a few lights or ventilation fans on that ugly ceiling
😂😂😂
im first today ,my mate last year picked up oranges and cherries and other stuff for the uk. On his break he went in the fridge took some fruit for himself and yes he got sacked i have no idea how anyone knew, its weird .Sherralin or ned might know .
They’d see the product missing or have alarms fitted on the doors so they can tell if/when they’ve been opened. Cheers Guy & well done 🥇
How the heck does your company make it pay, with add blue, diesel and tunnel fees, frightening amount of money. Enjoyed that trip, cheers.
I guess by pricing it right in the first place 🤞
I nearly fell off my chair at how much it cost to drive through that tunnel in Aussie dollars it was a gnats fart under AU$650 I hope that is paid for by whoever you are hauling for !
It is mate yes but that’s why stuffs so expensive eh 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️😃
Ben.
Sorry mate this 360 camera is doing my head in.
Left to right, fishbowl lens.
Great trip though. Will persevere for now.
Just being honest
Honest feedback is always appreciated mate.
tell us a story anyone can down load their forward facing camera - sorry
I tried, sorry 😔
