- This time it’s back to the South of France again. After tipping in the UK we reload from Norfolk & head back to the same destination as the previous week only this time it’s a holiday in France. Watch as I show you around a large Routier then return to our destination before picking up another load for the UK.

Hi Ben. Brilliant as always. Talking about weather. The amount of times me and my hubby have holidayed in Europe (Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria and Yugoslavia as used to be), we've probably had more terrible weather than good. In fact, I think we've had better weather here in the UK for our holidays. I have to admit, where desserts are concerned, you can't really beat the Germans, better than the French, and they are good

I used to be Aircrew on RAF VC-10 Tankers and the aircraft used to get Painted at Chateauroux! During Lockdown, British Airways parked some of their A380's there and literally filled the Airport up!

I passed my Class 1 in August 2022 at the ripe old age of 66 and am gaining experience as a temp driver. However, european does take it to another level! I love the whole HGV world, with all it's ups and downs and I always learn something new from you.

I love your vlogs great video as per usual I am thinking of doing european work in the future. what pulled better the v8 530 or the 540.
Thanks Nat, my 540 was quicker but the V8 had more power on hills though I didn’t really have it long enough. We’ve 2 brand new V8 660s coming in the next few weeks though & I bet they’re something else again 😃

Out of interest why did you go to Toulouse via Paris?
I usually go A16/A28 via Rouen, do the N154 down to Chartres, A10 to Orleans, on to Vierzon and then A20 South.
I find that flatter, especially after Rouen, and cheaper on tolls too.
I do almost anything to avoid Paris 😂
Apart from the tolls I don’t think there’s a lot in it but I like trying different routes so maybe yours next time 😉

I ran containers in Ohio, a lot of Europeans come to America and run containers. I love the photos of the trucks they drive in Europe

Are you able to tell us what you're carrying each trip??? or does the boss/customer not like it??. How much of a headache are the new rules re fresh produce coming into the country?? it must slow the whole journey down ??

Ive crossed over for 13 years 3 times a week if you look on line how to cross over its weird it says you need v5 fire exstinguisher bulbs high vis red triangle insurance ,ive never been asked for anything ever and i just leave Calais no one there . .

I've been watching your awesome vids for a while now and really want to get into euro trucking a was actusaly offered a job but the wages were so LOW I was shocked and didn't take it... was this a one off or are the wages low all over - would appreciate a take home a week average pay packet estimate from. you plz sir!
