Drew, as an Iranian I thank you for breaking stereotypes and all that other stuff people think about Iran, it brings us Iranians such joy that you love our country. I hope your third visit is as amazing as the other two!
There is a car traveller in my country who travelled all around asia and he also ranked that Iran is one of the best 3 countries in his trip. He told that what media shows us is a lie. He also said Iranians are too friendly, unbelievably friendly that first he almost get shocked by their friendly manner😅. (From Mongolia).
Your travel experiences are amazing. I love to travel solo, but jeez, everytime I watch Drew's videos I can't help but think how much easier it would be to travel if I was a man!! Not letting it stop me, but I envy the peace of mind.

If you don't mind joining a tour group, that's another good way to explore new places safely. There are companies that cater to solo women travelers (I've gone with AdventureWomen, which was great but can be pricey).

Aw man it really sucks to see Bahrain last. I grew up there for 10 years as a British expat and loved every second of it. I agree that because of it's size there isn't much to do but I am forever thankful to have lived and grown up there. Please don't let this video stop you from visiting Bahrain or any other country on the list for that matter. Each country has its own charm and uniqueness
I'm an American and worked in Bahrain about 10 years ago, I thought it was a great experience. Everyone speaks English, everything is built for convenience, the food is outstanding. It was classic Middle East without the fundamentalism, quite friendly to foreigners. There are people from all over, all types of food from everywhere, and the Friday brunches at the big hotels are an experience. I'd describe the country as one big souk.
I was shocked about the thumbs down on Bangladesh! Bangladesh is a gem, if you travel it the right way. Obviously, making travel plans in BD is either not really possible (unplanable country) or not worth it (World Heritage Panam City). However, if you find guides taking you into the Hilltreks of Chittagong, the Island of St. Martin, deep side Sundarbarn where the Bengal tigers live, it's a great country! Furthermore the human interactions are so pure and genuine in BD. I have tons of vlogs about BD on my channel and just captured the major protests that overthrew their government last month. Feel free to look around and definitely give the country another chance!!

I am from India and I'm not surprised by its position here. We Indians lack civic sense, people don't know how to behave in public places, on roads, tourist places, its chaotic.
A lot of it is because Indian cities are extremely noisy and overcrowded, just the honking from cars would drive a tourist insane! Since the cities are so overcrowded, there's no concept of personal space. Many Western tourists don't like all that noise and crowds and not having any personal space. Obviously one can only go by one's own experience but i had an unforgettable time in Bangladesh last year. Chittagong interior and Hill tracts including Rangamati and Bandarbon are beautiful. Numerous towns and villages to explore. The coastal drive along Cox's Bazar is stunning. The Sylhet district of Sunamganj is extremely beautiful. The natural countryside scenery is breathtaking. Going west you get to Tanguar Haor which again is gorgeous. Then along the border of India you have Takerghat and then comes Jadukata river and surrounding areas. Areas of exceptional natural beauty. Go further east along the Surma river on a boat you can hop off at Rangachar. Take a trip to Kandar Haor. Check out the paddy fields and the vast, lush, green plains with unobstructed views all the way to India. Further east to Shada Pathor. Famed for its beautiful white stones within crystal clear water. Just the tip of the iceberg. All mainly within Sunamganj and Sylhet. Honorable mention is Rajshahi in the west of Bangladesh situated on the Padma River. The most cleanest city in Bangladesh. The antithesis of Dhaka. Clean and traffic free. Most beautiful are the people. Very honest and friendly people
The things you told about Bahrain are straight up wrong. Bahrain is the least dry country in the region. Bahrain has a very rich history with many castles and the tree of life which looks stunning. The mosques and people working there are also very nice and liberal.
Still a terribly boring place comparatively to live along with the rest of the gulf. Global warming destroying the area for like half the year doesnt help
I went to Bahrain during my time in the Navy, there isn’t much to do, I saw their mall which was huge, I didn’t take the tree of life tour but should’ve! American alley was interesting, it’s a street with bahrain’s version of American fast food places. It shouldn’t have been ranked last but definitely isn’t a top Asian country

You didn't meet the indigenous socities and explore their fascinating food habits, religions and cultural diversity. You only visited dhaka, Chittagong which are two of the dirtiest- crowded - shittiest places in the country with people always ready to rob even the Bangladeshis! Next time, come visit our Rangamati - Khagrachari -Bandarban, I'll be your guide to explore the greenery-fountains-hills and the hospitality, foods and cultural diversity of the Bangladeshi Indegenous people!
As a Bangladeshi I fully agree on him. Bro people are pooping on the open area, from the boat to the river, from the train to the land. Foods are sold with open and unhygienic way, just go to Thailand & China or Indonesia and see how hygienic they are. Even I have friends from all around the world in UAE, I've learned a lot from them. Just open your EYEs & learn, teach other Bangladeshi to improve NOT to act we are perfect.

@@khansifat8363 You are partially right. I'm sad to see that Malaysia is ranked a little lower in the list. But just from this video, I noticed that only footages of Kuala Lumpur were featured. To be fair, a lot of documentaries, or travel vlogs only feature Kuala Lumpur as Malaysia and that is a very poor representation of what Malaysia has to offer. Outside of Kuala Lumpur, we have states that are rich in history (Malacca for example) and if you travel to East Malaysia (aka North Borneo), you will see a different culture, a different side of Malaysia as we are dominated by multiple ethnic groups. It might not rank up Malaysia higher in Drew's list (because this is based of his experiences), but I do want to encourage future travellers out there to explore Malaysia, beyond the capital city. By the way, thank you Drew and team for this video. I learned a lot about other Asian countries that I have never considered travelling to. Good work.

@@frankmiranda707why wouldnt it be? North Korea as bad as is for its people is something special. Singapore is just a big modern city where people work most of the time and spend their free time in shoping centers. The only special thing about it is how clean it is. You have to give Nepal another chance. It’s amazing and has so much more to offer than Kathmandu. Royal Chitwan national park is great. Annapurna is also amazing and of course the Everest region. Sucks you went when the earthquake happened. I also think you should separate Hong Kong from China. It certainly wants to be independent and is different than the mainland. Great video.
"It certainly wants to be independent"? Meh, don't speak for other people mate.
Thank you so much for ranking Pakistan 🇵🇰 as your top favorite travel destination in Asia!
It's amazing to see our country gets the appreciation it deserves. Pakistan has so much to offer to international tourists from the towering peaks of the Karakoram Range, including K2, the second-highest mountain in the world, to the ancient ruins of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa the center of one of the oldest civilizations known as Indus valley civilization. We have breathtaking landscapes like Fairy Meadows and Hunza Valley, chitral, swat, naran, kaghan, soon sakesar valley etc . The deserts, fertile land, glaciers, friendliest people, most hospitable people you’ll ever meet. And let’s not forget the delicious food! Pakistani food is so delicious in the world.
Your video will inspire more people to discover Pakistan’s beauty and culture. Thank you for spreading love

Id love to hear a woman’s perspective, or Drew’s POV re : safe countries for women travelers, or a collab w female travelers.
I’m glad Drew admitted that he had a negative bias towards China, which I had guessed from the way he had spoken about China in the past. I’m glad to see he has revised his opinion after spending more time there.
Asalamu alai kume bro! I am just dissapointed that your journey in Bangladesh was bad. I hope you can revisit us and enjoy the new Bangladesh😁🇧🇩👍
Because your country is muslim that why very dangerous
At first I actually thought you were in Mongolia, it’s really amazing how inner Mongolians able to keep their language, lifestyle, tradition and culture🙏🏼
Hey Drew, can you make a video of which places a female can travel solo, compared to which places you would recommend a guide be with you.
It would be all European countries from number one to the last.

Central Asia - Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
South East Asia - Indonesia , Philippines, Bhutan,Singapore,Vietnam,Thailand,Malaysia
East Asia - Japan, South Korea
As a solo female traveller, honestly you could do most of the 193 countries alone. Believe it or not:,)

Watching from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿
I have visited 30 countries and my trip to Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara) in the early 90s was one of my most memorable experiences.
Uzbek foods. There's a Uzbek resto over here in Nashville that i often go.
i love your content bro
Respect bro and ❤from Afghanistan 🇦🇫
Quite surprised with S.Korea mate. Expected higher ranking for that :)
I think alcohol accesibilty played an important role in this ranking 😅
No Alcohol availability in Afghanistan
Yea that is why Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and Uzbekistan are in the top 10 🙂😂
Absolutely
When your country is so boring and offered absolutely nothing Alcohol was the last saving grace which unfortunately/fortunately that wasn't available either. If alcohol was the deciding factor places like Afghanistan Iran etc would not make it in top 10
Pakistan , Iran , Afghanistan , Uzbekistan don't have accessibility to alcohol.
For The Bangladeshi viewers, He didn't just rank countries by nature. The rank has been made considering all aspects of the country's people and culture. Exactly
Love Iranian the best
36:38 Yes, you absolutely should go to Armenia again and explore it more thoroughly - its one of the oldest countries in the world, the first Christian country ever and its (recent) history deserves to be told to the world! Plus, its capital (Yerevan) is a cool city, its nature (Lake Sevan, Debed canyon, Azat canyon, many many mountains, etc...) is spectacular and it has so many awesome historical and cultural sites (so many monasteries, Roman Temple of Garni, city of Gyumri, etc...) to see! Oh - and Armenians are awesome as a people!
It is my personal favorite place in the world and is such an underrated gem that absolutely deserves more attention...
I remember a video where this guy said Sri Lanka is the most perfect country in the world, now it's 15th in Asia?
Its still probably the perfect for him.. Maybe he consider other aspects like best of the best cuisines.. Most friendly people kindest so on.. Perfect mean everything is in balance .. So SL must be still a perfect place
If you visited Nepal during earthquake in 2016, you need to visit it again. The mountains, sceneries are the best and traditional culture is great as well.
Love your travel vids Drew!! Informative without being preachy! I've been to 25 countries in the last 11 years, Love Singapore, but yeah hot AF!. I'd put the Philippines up there as far as heat (because of the humidity), and thought Manilla had some of the worse traffic I've experienced. Took me 90 minutes to go 7kms from the airport! Very little mass transit, just millions of tuk tuks!! Also LOVE the night market in Chaing Mai (the walking market in Pai too!). Such a variety of cultures represented in a condensed area!!

Please don't be so eager to put down your fellow Indians, there are many Indians who are decent and friendly and do know how to behave in public places, Santosh!
@@johnkonde1975 yes Sachin, I known, majority Indians are friendly but people who know how to behave in public places are very less. It's not just foreign tourists but many Indians also suffer because of this. There are crowded cities in other countries like China and Japan as well but people's behaviour there in public is completely different.

Very honest and friendly people
Thx for sharing!
@@drewbinsky you should really visit those places and give Bangladesh another chance
That’s his opinion I love Sri Lanka

As a Bangladeshi I fully agree on him. Bro people are pooping on the open area, from the boat to the river, from the train to the land. Even I have friends from all around the world in UAE, I've learned a lot from them. Just open your EYEs & learn, teach other Bangladeshi to improve NOT to act we are perfect.

Yaaayyy!!! Hello from Abbottabad, Pakistan :)
Good work.
