Communion is important
There has been 1 person who stayed by my side for a little while. I won’t give too many details but I came out as Aromantic to protect myself.
'A gentle yet subtle wind passing by:

This is a story about how one can lose themselves when they had something taken away from them and how it hurts the ones around you.
This story is part of an old local tale passed down for centuries, and I thought I would share it here.

Wolf, you made me cry. This song makes me think of my twin flame and how I will wait until the ends of the earth to be with him. There is a hopeful tone right at the end, that makes the tragedy of it all, somehow worthwhile.

"This quiet violence" is one of the best music I have ever heard. It's been a year since it was released, but up to the date, I still hear it. The name is shocking but true, and the beginning is so heartbreaking and fragile to the point that you feel that it's just too painful and hard just to even breath.
David Chappell, you are such a great composer and I wish I could know what were you feeling when you wrote this!!

I absolutely agree. I’m a writer, though I never dabbled in poetry since I’ve never really had the interest or the knack for it. Yet the very first time I ever heard this song, I remember I stopped what I was doing, sat in absolute silence for the longest time, and didn’t dare to breathe as a strange cataclysm of raw, personal emotions quietly surfaced and wound themselves into a string of private words through the ongoing cadence of the music. I had written something profoundly personal in my head that encompassed every emotion the title and that song evoked, and by the time it was finished I was sitting there with the faint trace of tears on my cheeks as I thought long and hard about what David Chappell had just composed. Very few songs have been able to impact me so profoundly, but “This Quiet Violence” truly hits deep.

This music threw me about 10 years into the past. The first, and so far only time I've ever felt such a deep and genuine love for someone else. I would have done anything for her. And did everything to bring her as much happiness as I could. The way she made me feel was indescribable. I went so far as to shut out others to focus entirely on her. Then we just..drifted. I did everything I could to keep us in each others lives but she just didn't seem to want me anymore. I suppose, looking back, that maybe I was too much for her. I smothered her. It's a hard lesson to learn. When you have something you love that much, you just want to be surrounded by it. How do you just let go like that? And even now that I finally have, a part of her will still live on inside me forever.
I know how you feel. I've experienced it myself. Same situation. But it happened and I had to let go, just like she did. It still hurts till this day. The pain didn't lessen. It just became manageable I guess. I for one can tell you, don't beat yourself up because of it. You loved more than most and that's what mattered. It may not have mattered to her the way you wanted, but it mattered to you,just like she did. Stay strong man. I know its hard and it sucks. I know, first hand. I wish I can say it gets better. Maybe it does, someday.

Man your story sounds so much like mine, I was in love with a girl for 4 years and I loved her so much, wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, make her happy and work hard to make that happen, right when I was about to ask her to marry me I found out that she didn't want me anymore, it took me two and a half years to get over that heartbreak..... That was 6 years ago and it never fully went away

Love is not a light or a faucet we can just turn off if and when we want..... our heads can get filled by ghosts we conjure up, living in the holes in our hearts. Filling up the spaces left by the lost/taken/ missing pieces of our hearts we can nvr seemed to find after it gets broken to pieces. Fn love.... something that can give u so much strength... then turn around and cripple u...... sometimes simultaneously

A lot of stories about first loves and such. I understand. They are real, not “puppy love.” In fact, many times…us elder souls can learn a lot by remembering the passion of something like a “first love.”
I had that; I know. Then I found something greater. Love for all time. And friendship, my best friend.
She, and the daughter she gave me; they’re gone. Wasn’t my time for…I don’t know. Thought we’d go together, older, and that my daughter would find……….
I’ll never love again; I choose not to. I can’t. I just hate waking up; remembering they aren’t here. Dreams are cruel sometimes.

This song is tragic, true, heartbreaking, and in a way, fulfilling, all at the same time. Complex and beautiful. I heard a quote, "Love is like sand, if you hold tight, it slips away, if you open your hand, it stays." Unknown. Maybe one day a few of us will find love that stays, I hope more than less.
"Kyan, do not let me go," She whispered faintly, a soft waver affecting the quiet tone in her voice. The azure eyed young lady felt tears well up in her eyes slowly and a lump quickly formed in her throat.
Her partner gazed at her solemnly before taking a moment to sigh heavily. His foot slid across the pavement leisurely and he rubbed the back of his neck hesitantly.
"The war... Ana," Kyan said gruffly as he stuffed his large hands in his baggy. He glanced down sorrowfully.
"Look.. I... I love you, ok. Enough to let you go."
Ana shook her head in disbelief as tears started falling down her cheeks. "But everything we promised... everything we shared," She said grief-strickenly, her face falling.
"Please Ana!" He said sharply, "...I have to let go," Kyan said brokenly, a stray tear falling down his cheek, "It is best for both you and I."
At that point, Ana, lost it. Kyan hesitantly pulled her into a warm embrace as she sobbed uncontrollably in his arms. He kissed her on the forehead gently, held her in his embrace a few minutes longer, before releasing his tender grasp.
"Goodbye, my love," He said softly, as he turned for the door. Ana wiped her tears and despite her sorrow, she smiled a little. Kyan smiled back at her reassuringly. A tear rolled down Kyan's dark brown eyes.
"I love you so much enough... that I'm actually letting go," He said gently. Ana wiped her tears as Kyan closed the front door shut.

She came into my life 6 years ago but I have to let her go, our hands once held together our hearts beat as one, we were in each others minds but no more. The pain is still there because I still love her and I don't want to stop loving her, so, the pain will become manageable as each day passes without her being in front of me or hearing her voice. Part 14
Now, Damnatos, Outskirts of the Governor's Palace
The place was on high alert. Ashint raised his shield to defend his charges. The older one, the adult, was saying something, barely audible over the gunfire "Why are they firing at us? Why are they trying to kill us?"
Ashint grimaced as one of the rounds impacted on the back of his shoulder and detonated. It had been a heavier round, and he felt one of the shards of shrapnel bury itself in a gap in his armour. He shook his head "They'd rather see you dead than see you freed from your husband. Most likely to avoid the impact on morale it could have if you speak-"
He was interrupted by another heavy round. This one did not pierce his armour, but the impact knocked the wind out of him.
"On my mark, make a run for it. My brothers are waiting beyond that gate to see you to safety."
The child now looked up, its eyes were wide. She did not fully understand what was happening, after all she was far too young for that. But she was sharp. Very sharp "What about you?"
The Executioner laughed "Blades are weapons. They are used until they break, and do not complain. I will buy you time, distract them and fulfill my purpose."
The adult shook her head "I have no doubt you could normally do it, but they're not trying to kill you. They're after my daughter and me."
She looked out from behind the shield "Run, Astartes, and bring my daughter to safety."
She said no more as she broke from cover and grabbed a gun from the blood soaked ground. As she opened fire. Ashint picked up the child and ran towards the wall.
Only a few shots were fired after him, and nothing that his armour could not stop. A single leap, and he was out, safe amongst his brothers. He looked back for a moment, seeing the gate slowly close behind him, and as he watched the adult fall, it struck Ashint that he never asked for the woman's name. He sighed and straightened himself "The Emperor knows her name..."
Hive Chemdrop, Eastern Civilian Shelter
Verillion emerged from the sewers. He was soaked in blood and dirt, and his armour barely retained any colour, but the people around him still regarded him as something divine. One of the Emperor's Angels of Death. He knelt down beside a man, mourning over the bodies of his wife and child, and softly whispered a blessing for their souls, as he had learned from his now dead brother Zachariah. He moved on, and repeated the process, moving past the bodies of husbands, wives, siblings, sons, daughters, friends. Ever more bodies there were, some barely recognizable due to the flames. Wherever he moved, he left the people of Damnatos with a little more hope and courage than he found them with. Slowly, as he finished his rounds, the librarian turned their mourning into the will to fight back against those who had caused such pain.
Before he left, he turned around, all eyes focused on him "If anyone wants to avenge the fallen, speak to the Storm Brigades, they will arm you. What you do from there, is your own choice."
As he left, he could hear several speakers rally the people around them. They would fight.
Hive Chemdrop, along the main highway
Arkio looked out over the road. This was their way to push up an army to the palace. Now secured, it was time to set the final part of his plan into motion. The people were up in arms, they would attack the palace, while his brothers and the Storm Brigades would snuff the rebels out of the sewers.
He sighed. One part had not gone according to plan though. He had planned to win the people over, not have them antagonized. There were far too many casualties.
Several of those casualties were his own brothers. They had had to scramble towards the shelters to save the inhabitants of the Hive, and they had. But at a cost.
Eighteen pyres were displayed on the road, each with a dead warrior of his company.
Varathiel moved amongst them, blessing their spirits, while Kiephros prepared their bodies. A final nod from the Chaplain and the Apothecary signaled they were done.
Arkio held the torch himself. He had some words of his own for his fallen brothers, but those were only for them to hear.
"You can go home now, brothers. Your duty is over, no more fighting, no more war. Be at peace, and let us one day feast and drink together again."
He moved from pyre to pyre, igniting them as he went along. After a while, eighteen flames reached for the stars. The Lord-Captain smiled, the skies had cleared for just a moment, as if to guide these warriors on their last journey home.
"Until we meet again, brothers."
It's combination of Love, Sadness, Hope, Despair, Beyond, Infinity, Destinated to be patient and... What a perfect song...
When listening to that music I feel a thousand emotions feelings that I can not describe is the most that beautiful music as if it were from heaven itself

James yelled to Emma “Wait! I just want to talk. I just want to talk.” Emma was in a crouched position ready to fly away at a moments notice. Her face was obscured by her white and black hair. She slowly set it to the side revealing her beautiful blue pupils. No matter how many times she did that. He was always left astounded how amazing her eyes looked. “I want you to stay. I want you to stay with me.” He held his palm out to her. Within his hand two perfectly round stones rested. But their was something special about the stones, to both Emma, and James. They both carved their initials into one of the stones when they were young. To each of them it felt an eternity ago when they were just kids goofing around and running in the grass together. They were very close when they were young. It was silent as Emma examined the stones from afar. “You kept them” Emma said breaking the silence. “We both made a promise to each other that we would be there for one another.” James paused looking at the ground. “When you laid your life on the line to you gave this back to me. I want you back. I love you.” She traced her hand on his picking out her stone. She examined it for a few seconds. A looming shadow of sadness plagued her face. Emma balled the stone in her hand and placed it against James chest. “It’s not that I don’t want to be with you. I really do. But there are people out there suffering I can’t help myself but feel guilty. I need to help the people who can’t help themselves. I don’t want a kid to turn out like me. But our paths have diverged. Your duty to the kingdom. And my duty to the people. I love you but I’m letting you go.”

As she struggled to come up with something to respond with, he boarded the fighter. She was unable to do anything but look, as he took flight, and headed towards the fighting in the city. She looked from the edge of the airfield, as his aircraft flew towrads the enemy's starships orbiting the city's center, but to her surprise one by one fighters from across the city spontaneously joined him. Lights began to engulf the sky as the enemy sent their own fighters to intercept him and his comrades, but they slipped past them, forcing the enemy to fire the flak guns of their starships. Fierce fighting raged across the sky as the fighters fired upon the flak guns destroying many of them, while he flew towards the mothership. One by one fighters kept getting gunned down until a handful of them, including him reached the mother ship. Suddenly a flakgun from one of the starships hit the mothership, damaging it. The remaining six fighters following him converged on the damaged part of the mothership, and fired upon it. However it did little, but while the other fighters turned sideways to avoid crashing, he sped up and crashed with extremely high velocity on the mothership at the damaged part. For a moment everything everything went silent, before an explosion rocked the side of the mothership. After a few long seconds an even more massive explosion rocked the mothership, bringing it down to the ground along with damaging several of the starships bringing many of them down too.
With this, the battle for the planet had come to an end giving the federation crucial time to reorganize its forces. All of this thanks to him and his sacrifice

This so true I had to let go of best friend we so so close together people around us taught we husband and wife. It’s hard to let go one day hope she get over the hurt that exes have done to her emotions and we our path will cross one day in the future. Until then I treasure the memories. Love is there buried and lock away.
