New Ball Joint from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASB...
This video shows you how to install a lower ball joint on your 2003-2021 Chevrolet Express. Car and truck suspensions combine a number of moving parts for safe and stable handling. The ball joint is the crucial moving component that ties those parts together. The ball-in-socket joint can wear out and loosen over time. Or, the rubber protective boot can tear, allowing contaminants to seize the joint. Bad ball joints are a common failure point on vehicle inspections because they lead to unsafe driving conditions. Fortunately, they are relatively easy to replace with the right know-how.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

I did both lower ball joints on my Express this weekend past. I tried a large sledge hammer to move the balljoint out. It did not budge. I basically threw caution to the wind and used the balljoint press with a long breaker bar and a longer pipe over the end of the bar and gave it all I had to turn the press. I was pretty sure I was beyond what I should have been torquing it to. Finally it moved a bit. it did not get easier till it was nearly out.
Basically I am saying if you see this vid, expect the removal to seriously be tough. I went harder than I thought I should and it worked out.
Giv Er! and you ought to get there.
Hey friend, how much torque do work van tires have in pounds?
Excellent video, most vids don't show the bitch chisel removal of that lower stock ball joint!! 👍
Thanks for posting
+Michael Back Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Rotary Hammer Drill and Masonry Chisel will cut the top off the the ball joint.
Thanks
This looks pretty annoying lol. I'm probably going to use an angle grinder on those tabs when the time comes
Happen to know the size of the ball joint press cup? I’ve got to buy a press
Paid to have a shop replace whole front end, new arms with new joints, everything in front new. He must have not greased the new ones🤷🏻♂️ 3 months later and one is creaking …if you want something done right do it yourself 🤦🏻♂️
They have cup kits online for about $44-$90
please name the tools to do the job
