The defeated feeling of the show is definitely felt. Obi-Wan looks like he's stopped living the Jedi code and looks like he blends into normal life, which is the best way to hide in plain sight.
Jimmy Smits delivered a call to action for the HISTORY BOOKS! Also, ugh the biggest gut-punches to see Obi Wan dreaming of losing Anakin every night even 10 years later... and that he buried their sabers side by side 😭
This is Star Wars. People will shit on it no matter what (with ANDOR being the prime exception for all the good reasons), and then grow to love it ten or twenty years from now. Please feel free to have your own opinion and to enjoy whatever you do. The series is full of ups and downs, but it definitely delivers in the long run. I enjoyed it for what it was, even if some scenes screamed for a third or fourth rewriting, and they should have relied a bit less on the Volume stage. That said, it's a fine series with good actors, great effects, and good music. Sometimes you miss the old themes dearly, but that's not Natalie's fault (read the interview about how Williams vetoed his other themes to be used for most of the show). Siiiiigggggh.... Here we go again... I'm gonna fill you in on the other things Lucasfilm was doing other than the promotional videos we all loved. To answer your question 10 years yup that means 9 more years till a new hope. There was also really BAD articles Lucasfilm put out that if you don't like this show you are a racist. Now to be fair there was speculation already that this show was a bait and switch from people online. Though if the show is good then Lucasfilm wouldn't have to worry about bad speculations and out right calling us racist when the show wasn't even out yet. This was because of the new actress Moses Ingram's role as Reva. Again, though if the show is good then there wouldn't have been anything to worry about. They posted this article on star wars's original birthday May 25th, the day before the show was going to come out. They did a watch order for the viewers in Europe that had to sit and watch before this. I'm an American but I was curious as to why they did that. So I did their order and watched phantom menace attack of the clones the clone wars movie clone wars episodes from season 3 the mandalore plot with Satine season 4 with Pon Krell and then revenge of the Sith. So I had to sit through a 4 minute recap of what I just watched. Then after that we don't get to even see what Obiwan was doing at the time until the time jump 10 years later. Now I know that, that was intentional to set up for later with Reva but there's the first red flag. 🚩 I'll save that for later... Did you notice that by stealing the food for his Eopie Obiwan has caused pain to his coworkers? He keeps stealing and they get less pay because the boss has to. Someone stealing means the boss has to watch his employees because they are stealing from him. So OBIWAN STOP STEALING the food. You would get more if you take less 6:45 The writer they hired didn't watch ROTS so he didn't know. What he did know was filtered in by Pablo Hidalgo's knowledge. So Joby Harold unfortunately got thrown under the bus because of this. Pablo Hidalgo is a big contributor to the sequels so of course he would sprinkle sequel references in this show like burying lightsabers. Obi is really pulling the Luke sequel vibes in episode 1 when he COULD have helped Nari off world by using the Fulcrum code frequency to hide his identity like Ahsoka did in clone wars. You'll understand that more in Rebels

If you haven’t watched SW Rebels you don’t know who these inquisitors are. I recommend watching Rebels first
What are these comments, this is nothing on the scale on Andor. Please don't hype up a show for no reason. The top comment right now encapsulates the tone of the series.
What took so long!
The Clone Wars....
You would get more if you take less
6:45 The writer they hired didn't watch ROTS so he didn't know.
It's astounding how they keep making worse and worse every time...at least we got Andor...
Tldr.
Don't start with a long dramatic sigh
@@SwiftJustice this show gave me nothing but headaches OK. Give me a little breathing room
Reva by far one of the most unlikable characters in the series.
Damn, so Obi-Wan and Yoda just ran and hid while the other remaining Jedi got hunted down and slaughtered.🤷🏿♂️
The Grand Inquisitor is the main villain in season one of Star Wars Rebels
Are you forgetting about Chopper? ;)
It’s been a long wait for this. I’m not a fan of Clone Wars and by extension I was not a fan of the wait 😀
