From a girl who did both laser and electrolysis: I confirm that laser is not adequate for “hormonal” areas and can make matters worse (chin, upper lip, and “happy trail” hair). A good laser clinic with lots of experience should actually refuse to do laser on those areas because you can actually have the opposite effect (not always but common). Electrolysis is painful and more time consuming but SO worth it for smaller areas, and it is actually permanent! I did it for upper lip and chin, it took a good year and a half (my experience however is that they poked the needle in each pore, not multiple needles at once), and legit I have been mustache free since then, not one hair has grown back. It’s worth it!!! 😊
And yes, you will be red, and scab from electrolysis, so not the cutest look for 1-3 days, but make sure to ice it and use a cream like Cicaplast to help the skin heal asap and avoid makeup for 24-48 hours but it’s so worth it in the long run
Waxing is no better, you have to let her hair grow long before the next appointment, also have to consider if you want to pay money on for most of your life because waxing is not permanent for everyone

For real they say laser is permanent but the most it did for me was reduce the hair but I just went to waxing
