Cedar Point invited us out for a HalloWeekends Media Day Preview! The Media Day preview took place in one of their Haunted Houses, "The Haunting of Eerie Estate". During the event we got exclusive interviews with Tony Clark, Cedar Point Director of Communications, Michael Roddy, Cedar Point VP of Entertainment, RJ Sinwald, Cedar Point Executive Chef, and Ed Douglas from Midnight Syndicate.

Cedar Point's HalloWeekends event is truly "Like No Other" since the whole park stays open during HalloWeekends for the whole family! The scary parts of the park are clearly marked and the haunted mazes are all indoors, allowing young children and those more sensitive to stay in the park to ride attractions until the park closes!
Be sure to subscribe to the channel, since we will also be experiencing the daytime children's activities. Although the activities end at 7 PM for kids, Planet spooky and family friendly attractions are open during the Haunt (usually until about 10 PM). Other attractions stay open until midnight!

We loved some of the specialty food, and we can definitely recommend the Nashville Chicken and Waffles from The Corral, and the spider cupcake from the Frontier Inn! During the event, we loved some of the specialty adult (21+) cocktails from the Inferno Bar!
Be sure to check out the opening scary monies at 7 PM and stick around for DJ Eve and Midnight Syndicate before hitting the Scare Zones and the Haunted Houses. We highly recommend Fright Lane if you wish to experience all of the Haunted Houses (and Cornstalkers) in one evening!

Outside of Freakshow you might be thinking of the Carnival Barker on the pedestal. His character name was Pops. The actor's played different characters at Cedar Point like farmer Otis in Forbidden Frontier. It's his B-day today coincidentally. Budget cuts so they moved the actor to Castaway Bay. Otherwise yeah if it's clowns you were thinking of there were also clowns that roamed around there and Gemini Midway at night and Frontier Trail and some of the main midway during the day last season.
I didn't care for the updated Cornstalkers 2.0 maze with like you said be prepared to crouch from the overhanging pieces.
Blood on the Bayou Into the Fog the path still has the Dinosaurs Alive pattern that's hard to walk on but it was good to walk in there since it was closed this summer.
I didn't go into Blood Bath this season yet. But they used to have one in the front called Club Blood which was a tamer version of the racier one at Kinds Island's Haunt. It had an obvious club theme. Blood Bath didn't quite know what it wanted to be last season. I look forward to seeing what's new.
The Mr. Midnight maze that used to be the witch-themed Hexed (which i liked) it's good to see a spinning vortex tunnel back at CP. They haven't had one for a very long time. They used to have two.

The new clown area was great and the band was awesome.
We love the Butchers of Rock! We wanted to add Moe content into our video but we didn’t want to make it too long! But yeah they were amazing !
Is the Fright Lane pass only good for 1 trip thru each maze?
Yes, they will hole punch your fright lane once you go through the fright lane lines

What about the clowns that go around scaring people in the boardwalk
They usually don’t show up until after 10. So it’s pretty safe until it’s really late. My kids were pretty tired by around 1030 and we left this past Thursday without seeing anything too scary!
