Growing up, the most difficult thing I had to do was to ditch my fear of not being able to fit in with the world. No one is truly fearless. But what you can do is conquer the fear and grow ahead of your fear. I'm still struggling with a lot of my fears and phobias. But I am overcoming them one day at a time.
You remind me of Dear Evan Hanson, "Be Found" with that. Lol True though. Those who claim to be fearless are either foolish or lying. To fear is to be human, to live life overcoming the unhealthy fears, removing the flaws you can, embracing the limitations you can't break and breaking the ones you can't, that is courage. When I was a child I always thought fearlessness was awesome, in my old age, i find it to be foolish. Just food for though. I wish you well in conquering your phoebias and I encourage you to seek God to help with it. His wisdom will guide and keep you and banish your fears if you let it. God Bless

I've always connected with the first part of this song, the little girl broken down by expectations and the world and people around her, lost and believing she'll never be fearless till one day far in the future. But only recently have I started to feel more like the 2nd part. Determined to be heard and seen, taking life as it comes, appreciating the simple things, being truly fearless. I'm going to college in the fall, and am forever grateful to malinda for letting me see my evolution, that the person leaving is not the same person who first heard this song. OMGGGGG! I literally can’t get over how amazing her voice is. This song is the first of Malinda’s that I’d heard (that wasn’t GTS), and the song that initiated my adoration for her. There are soooo many little things that I’ve picked up in this video alone that make my heart melt; the little ‘bye the bye’ of baby Malinda is so god damn cute, the vocals of the last time she sings ‘with the clearest parts of me’ are too incredible, the clips of baby Malinda dancing are adorable, and the overall video itself is simply amazing.
