The qr fittings on the rod rest arm and ripple bar are so you can connect your attachments without having to screw them in every time. You can them remove them for easier storage or for swapping between different attachments.
Great video, you'll stand out on the bank now haha The Matrix stuff is bright! What surprises me over the last few years the increase of waste packaging items come in now
I see all video of your Matrix Purchase Ben. I think you do the best choice to buy Matrix product. I use it last 2 years and worth the money you pay . Good choice!!!
I've been subscriber of your channel for a few years now and that's the best box setup you've ever had with all your attachments on its stunning the colour the size everything looks perfect.and when you get your bait brolly will look even better. do you think you might be getting some new luggage now that would be the icing on top of the cake .stay safe ben
@@Angling4U well I've made my mind up what box I'm buying just got to wait for my local tackle shop re opens that's down to you and your in depth review so many thanx Ben look forward to seeing you give yours a good field test many thanx again.
What I like about your videos you give aren't tied down to one brand and you are fair with your comments and never pull Uther brands down about the fishing tackle
The button on the feeder arm rest head is so u can leve the rest head on and just push button to take it off same with ripple bar in pole socks Ben hope that helps
I love getting new tackle. Yet there's this one factor that dulls my smile a bit. The excessive packaging. I'd just as happy getting hold of the exact same kit even if it came naked. The heaps of plastic bags, carboard boxes,, little blister pack, polystyrene, and other I'd forgotten. I fully understand the reasons behind it, protection during transit, classy presentation. Admittedly there are recycling centres dotted about. But we wouldn't have to over work them with less packaging. Rant finished. Good vid Ben, not long now, you'll soon have your own ISS, and a docking point for a shuttle......Hehehe. I'm rather fond of matrix stuff. Gradually building up a good set. I favour rod and line, and the feeder. Never could afford a seat box, pole, and rollers and the rest that comes with it. Been on benefits since 2000 thanx to poor health. There's no spare cash there. Anyway, catch in the next vid. TTFN
Nice NEW seating station psl,Just wanted to ask a quick question,The roost on your tray for the butt of Kits and rod's BUT what are you going to use for other roost a 3 leg or 4 leg stand? Thanks
Thanks Ben just got my new Matrix P25 Box today £229.99 Can`t believe how good the Quality is the Aluminium in the trays are a lot thicker and sturdier than the rive trays I`m Really Really Pleased with it Had a lot of boxes over the years some very expensive this is one of the best Quality and made many Many Thanks Richie. ( Do you think the MAP shallow draw inserts will fit the Matrix drawers)
Hi there I used to use 2 knuckles to the box had the three knuckles other side middle one put the bait brolly adapter then no extra arm for bait brolly
Ben I'm watching this video this question is about feeder rod I'm a keen feeder fanatic my feeder rods are 11 and 12 feet method rods best rods I ever brought what's yours I now u used y a b and dream and such and such other brands you you take your pick what would it be
That feeder arm looks unwieldy and clunky. I don’t buy Preston’s stuff these days as they reinvent the wheel every year and tell you last year’s amazing new product is now defunct but their feeder arm is much slicker than that matrix one. What a faff it looks.
As a Matrix fan I have to admit that I am disappointed with the quality of the attachments, poor design, sloppy tolerances and cheap materials...feeder arm, keepnet arm and butrest are on their way of kicking the bucket...very disappointing. Feederland and Rive seem the way to go, because replacing stuff every other season at most is just silly.
Cheers Ben just changed from Octbox to Matrix great review thanks
Great to hear! Richard
