HEADING NORTH AGAIN - CAUGHT IN A DOWNPOUR AT TULLY GORGE Episode 61

Yes.....we're heading north again!!! This time to have our bullbar replaced after hitting a roo back in November. So glad we are heading back this way though because we get to explore the Tully Gorge National Park. The walk in is stunning but if you want to go out to the rock pool it is quite challenging. We manage to get out to the rock pool where the waterfall cascades through the rocks and over the massive drop to the bottom of the gorge and the view down the valley is breathtaking. Whilst out there the heavens decide to open up on us which made it dangerously slippery as we scramble to get back to safety. We also visit the Australian Sugar Heritage Centre and stay at Lucinda for a few days and back down to Airlie Beach and head out to Lake Proserpine.

Thanks again for the great video, must of been a big roo to do that much damage. Didn't really need one in Tassie fortunately we dodged everything there which was good. Nice to see Big 4 park as we will stay there at Airlie Beach really looking forward to seeing the Whitsundays. Glad to see you take a snake bite kit as watching someone suck the puss out can be off putting. Cheers thanks again.

Big 4 in Cannonvale is a beautiful park. I’d imagine it’d be super busy in school holidays because of the playground in the pool but overall a great park. 😊
