    El Grande is a favorite at my gaming group and online, area control is different and not for all. Still a classic and just bought the reprint.

    this is the best area control game up to date. nothing comes close when you only look at that mechanic

    Just really want to counter the implied negativity....this is a great game. This is a "roll with the punches" game. When you try to impose control on it, you are playing wrong and will have a poor time. This is one where you place bets, over and over and hope it pays out over time.

    It’s just my favorite game ever. I’ve played over 200 board games. And yes it’s best with 4 players not 5 as on bgg.
