- Salma Hayek was joined by her 14-year-old daughter Valentina for the Marvel “Eternals” red carpet. She spoke to Access Hollywood’s Sibley Scoles about playing her role of Ajak who was written as a man in the Marvel comics. “It hit me really hard and I nearly cried and I have to hold it, I saw a whole family of Latinas dressed as Ajak and it really meant so much to me and it reminds me that anything is possible,” Salma said. She also explained the importance of having such a diverse film, “I really wanted my daughter to see this and be a part of this.” “Eternals” is out in theaters on Nov. 5.

How old are you? She is like the typical private school kid... So not down to earth at all
What do you consider down to earth my dear? I am mother of 2 children that have been north in public and private education. Being born rich is not a crime but she seems very well mannered and down to earth considering the kind of wealth she was born to. I know cases of rich kids throwing tantrums for getting the wrong ferrari color. I don't claim to know this girl but she gives off good vibes, that is all I want to say.
@@megg8566 I've been also to private and public schools. when you went so many years to private school you can just spot it. I didn't say it's a crime but there is a certain subcategory of people who went to private school in a country where classism exists ( there are countries where classism is non existent and it doesn't matter if you went to private or public school, she is from France and México where classism is exploding) , especially if it's an expensive all girls/boys Christian private school. She has airs of those people I went to school with, who just really thought they were sth better and the world barely deserves them and then they got rejected by ivy leagues schools or any decent university... Yeah of course in front of the camera she will behave... But I can spot it in the way she looks with her eyes, her corporal movements her gestures. Nothing wrong with that, but I just think she would fall in that category of girls who really thought they were it because she pretty much resembles them in everything. I don't think she is the humble rich girl who also would chill with the disadvantaged public school girl from a toxic household.

Salma is ageless, I love that she represents her Mexican and Lebanese culture. Her daughter looks mostly like her dad with a hint of Salma. And what diverse heritage she has... Mexican, Lebanese and French. I don't think I've ever heard of that combination together before. Love it. Her daughter seems very mature for 14 and very grounded. Good to see!
Mexico has a very LARGE population of middle eastern roots. Northern Mexico has millions of Lebanese-Mexicans

You have many people that are beautiful outside, but are very UGLY on the inside. You can tell how she carries herself, the way she speaks, etc, that she was raised properly and with class! She's not this snobby celebrity and wealthy child of someone. Her dad? Is a BILLIONAIRE. But you would never know this just looking at her demeanor and behavior.
