I definitely need this. I have moderate to severe toxic thoughts. I can be in my heart and head so much overthinking, feeling, and overanalyzing that I don't always ground myself and take care of my body and it's needs. I definitely need to practice self kindness and self care along with reading my bible daily. I struggle with ruminating on negative thoughts in the past, low self esteem, comparison, and self hatred because of severe childhood trauma and abuse along with mental illness, abandonment and bullying. I need to have more self compassion God's way and affirmations to encourage me. Meditating on God's words help too.
Ma’am, you are so doctrinally sound. Thank you. I appreciate your devotion to the Lord. It makes it easy to listen to you over and over again till its stays in my head. You don’t have any idea how much you’ve helped me, especially in dealing with a BPD.

I used to think, well these are my thoughts so it must be all me and what a horrible person I must be. Then I read Battlefield of the Mind and learned how evil wiggles its way into my mind. It was life changing. As soon as some thought popped into my mind that I knew was wrong, I would say "shut up Satan, go away" and it would work! I was also heavily into the Word at the time. After many years I let my guard down, wasn't as involved with the bible as I had been and boy did that door open up for 2+ years. I am still trying to get back to where I was...the ruminating is just so horrible, it has been very difficult 🙁 😢
Such a great video with rich wisdom. I think we tend to dismiss the power God gave us to resist. That’s called self-control and it’s a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Even if I’ve been stuck in repetitive thoughts that don’t honor God and undermine my life, once I’m aware of them, I shout (aloud or in my head) NO! I will not let anyone take away my joy! Sure, it’s often easier said than done. But the more I practice this same calming phrase, the more often it comes to mind and the easier it is to say, and then experience the strength it gives me to redirect my attention/thoughts/mind to something else.

WOW this is for me.. i have been strugling with bitterness and hurt toward people in my life for months. Amazing how God brought me here. Thank you Lord for helping me.

There's something that never fails me, see, I used to struggle a lot with intrusive thoughts that would cause me even panic attacks since I was a teenager (I'm 34 now), now I understand those are not my thoughts, so I say with authority "I bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" and they have to go. What if ones a Christian who suffers from ADHD and OCD such as myself? Its hard for me to find someone who speaks on that. It'll definitely help for those who do struggle with it. It doesn't go well with our Faith. I sometimes think the enemy knows and uses it against us
Good question 👍 ! Me too suffers from ADHD and PTSD/MPD therefore I meanwhile learned to spend extra time and much more quality time with our Heavenly God and Father in Christ in His Word, with praying and reading/eating 📖😋🙏🏼💝 the Bible with perseverance, than the average brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, which have none disability in regular basis daily life...... Greetings from overseas, a little sister in the body of Christ 🤗

I took a lot of medicine until December 2020 I was so excited and fed up with everything was going on with this coronar virus - I lost my rest of trusting my professional help social worker and therapist.... But for good, for God's sake it drove me in His presence and he created in me a new heart deep faith only in God LORD Jesus Christ! Not on my circumstances anymore..... Therefore I kicked all my medicine out of my life! But only after praying for this topic a very long time and my will to show God my life is in His hands only, not in addiction to the pharmacy......
Now I have again little more trouble on focusing for a long time but therefore my brain fog (which has been a side effect!) was gone ! All honor and glory to our awesome God! Him alone belongs all praise and Thanksgiving 🙏💝 thank you Lord Jesus forever! 🥰

Satan has been manipulating me really badly lately. I have been praying yet still succumb to temptation of the flesh and thought. It’s like I have no control at times. Scary.
If you have the Spirit of God in you, you do have control. We'll be praying for you.

I’m a little confused by this. Jesus was perfect, yet he was still tormented by Satan. He didn’t invite Satan. In fact, he was led into the wild nearness by the Spirit to be tempted. Obviously he rejected it. If we’re like Christ, it’s fair to say that we too will be tormented, isn’t it?

While we are not responsible for every thought that enters our heads, we are responsible for what we do with those thoughts.
Life on earth is a spiritual battle. The enemy is eager to supply diversions to distract us from God’s will (1 Peter 5:8). We must be vigilant to ensure that what we heed is more than a feeling but is truly from God Himself.
Are there temptations which are designed to make us fail? Yes, but they do not come from God-they come from Satan (Matthew 4:1), his evil angels (Ephesians 6:12), or from ourselves (Romans 13:14; Galatians 5:13).
Words cannot express how uplifting this teaching is. It is very sweet! I’m grateful for you, Kris. Thanks be to God. 🤗
p.s. I took the quiz again, and it’s gotten better since! Even though the Toxicity of my Toxic thoughts is now ‘Moderate’, I am happy that there’s been an improvement. 🥹🫂 I also enjoyed reading the testimony you shared. Oftentimes I forget that people aren’t flawless/perfect. I wonder what deceived me to thinking like so... I shouldn’t put anyone on a pedestal. Anyway I pray I be delivered from controlling things and others; I don’t want to manipulate any longer… It’s quite challenging but that’s why I need to abide in the true vine and submit everything to God. Without Him we can do nothing and produce no fruit.
