My Pinarello from the early 80’s is still going strong! Never an issue with the Columbus tubing.

Does anyone know when Columbus SL tubing first came out? When in the1960s? I am surprised Columbus has not put out a book about their company.
Essentially finally refined - along with its "bigger" brother SP in the late 1960's. They were the two mainstays for nearly a decade. They also built KL for in line track TT only a few years later, having relied upon SP as their preferred/designated track tubing. By the early '80's they really took off with internal helix profiles - models and have only advanced from there. THEY KNOW. They REALLY know.

Always talking about soul, but their chromovelatos are the most bland looking things ever. Too clean, not good enough, look like cupcakes.
