That was fun. I've been up to Pikes Peak a few times and indeed the air is thin. The cog Railway will be our next trip to the peak. Thanks again. Rocky

We rode our motorcycle up to the top on Father’s Day several years ago. It started snowing really hard..so a slippery ride back down. 72 degrees at the bottom. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. We lived in Colorado Springs so we drove to the top with all our friends who visited. Must have been there at least 20 times. Loved it each time.

That’s awesome! It’s certainly an experience not to miss. It’s crazy how it can snow there even during the summer months.

I have driven up Pikes Peaks a few times. I will get tickets in July or August to ride.

The ride is definitely worth it. Our recommendation is to buy tickets in advance as they sell out quickly and pay close attention to your seat choice (it’s like booking an airplane ticket & seating).
Do enjoy the trip up the mountain and let us know your feedback. Thanks for subscribing and supporting our channel!

Yes, it was in the negatives when we were there! Shame the road was closed and we couldn’t drive up.

Right on! We named our channel that because we do not plan on advanced for adventures & the activities we do are definitely unknown to us as we haven’t explored much of the country yet until now.

You said you could go up on the cog or you could drive You forgot That you can walk up. You have to hike up Barr trail and you should be very healthy And be able to hike long distances. People who may or may not have a few screws loose race up the Peak in various types of vehicles. Then more crazy people race run up.

Thanks for the video. It would have been nice if you turned the camera off of yourself a bit more and let us actually see what’s on the trip. I found myself hurrying through the video looking for video without your face in it. You went through the welcome center so fast I can’t tell if it would be worth the trip. Common man!
