- What a lovely week we had in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura in February!
It has been such a wet winter in the UK, it was good to get away and enjoy a week of HOT sunshine in the Canary Islands in February.
Come for a stroll around the seafront, see the local wildlife and soak up the atmosphere in the bars and restaurants.
We travelled with Easyjet Holidays, and we stayed at the Puerto Caleta Apartments.

I spent my 70th birthday there in May on my own as my partner passed the previous November. I stayed at the Sara Elba. Enjoyed the whole thing so much I booked again for June next year. Love everything about the place. The relaxed atmosphere, the beauty, the friendly locals, the hotel was outstanding as were the staff. My darling would have loved it but she was there and will be again next year. What a very very special little town.

@@michaelfearon1279 I’ve stayed at Cay Beach, great place, and nice to have a heated pool in the winter months! Also stayed at Puerto Caleta twice, Broncemar three times, Castillo Playa three times, and my very first visit was up the hill at Caleta Dorada back in 2007.
I can’t imagine not ever being able to go back. At one point, pre-Brexit, we were thinking of buying a retirement holiday home there, but it’s too fiddly since Brexit and the 90-day rule!
