As someone who works in the home health setting, the 3-window display is what I'm very excited about! It gives me a chance to complete patient notes in one window, have the patient's history on the other, and have another window for a word doc/template copy-pasting. I've used a tablet for work, but most are slow, clunky, and I can't send/receive text messages in it for care team communication. The s-pen will also prove helpful for patient verification. Getting mine this weekend, and hopefully it all works out! With all things considered, it looks like a great upgrade from my S9 haha

@@UBZUKki it has been pretty awesome! Maybe not the 3 window display, but there is a lot of real estate with the big screen. I bought the samsung case with the s pen fold, I can't seem to use it on the front screen. Had to use my amazon bought stylus to get patient signatures in the front. So far, my work productivity has tripled and I do not have to complete my notes at home as I can easily do them on the spot!

This is my third day with my fold 4. This is my first foldable and I am looking over the few draw backs of this phone ie: the crease, the inside camera which i don't even notice and no s-pen. I had a note 4 once and I never used the s-pen so I don't care about it. I don't see the crease when using and the battery life is improving as I use the phone. The small display is usable for quick stuff like phone calls, texting and checking my gmal. It looks fine and I don't mind it. Yes a litter wider would be nice but i'm good with it as is. The big display is spectacular and the split screen is a fantastic feature. One thing is a must, you have to get a case. The phone is slippery and with the $$$ spent I rather have a case with a holding strap. All in all, very happy with my purchase.

For the multi screen view with 3 apps, I would use it to have chrome, excel, and notes open. I use a spreadsheet I created to enter in a list of dances from class into a spreadsheet i created, then copy and paste the results from lookup formulas into notes, do a little editing there and then paste into this site I go to for logging information. That's one example for me. I definitely would use it more often than not. I like the idea of not feeling required to keep my tablets with me. @@npcimknot958 because it makes sense I don't mind the cover display staying 6.2" it's the narrow display that bothers me, ya I prefer the size of the s22 ultra but since this is a folding phone I don't mind as I can unfold into a bigger display but I want the cover display to feel like a candy bar smartphone rather than a tv remote, they can make it the same size and aspect ratio as the s22, that phone is comfortable to use 1 hand and is usable, the zfold 4 cover display some what usuable but not as usuable as a normal sized candy bar phone. About the bigger battery their is no reson why the zfold 4 can't have bigger battery if the s22 ultra can fit a 5000mAh they could fit that in the zfold 4 atleast true it folds and a thinner device than the s22 ultra in unfolded mode but its also alot more wider than the s22 ultra when unfolded they are just cheaping out on us with the 4400mAh size and them sticking with a 4400mAh battery but not giving us internal spen support isn't reasonable with a small sized 4400mAh battery it's more than possible to fit the spen inside and the wider cover display can solve the problem, even though it's an imporvement from the pervious gens I would like it to be wider like the vivo fold atleast. Why don't u want a wider outter display and who doesn't want bigger battery lol

I have been using my Fold 4 for a week. It replaces an Exynos S22 Ultra. I had a Fold 3 (which I sold because it was too frustrating) so I can compare. Really, the Fold 4 is "just a bunch of little incremental upgrades" compared to the 3. But, these little things add up and the 4 is in fact a huge upgrade in terms of pleasure. Battery life, wider cover screen, task bar, easier to use multi-window, screen quality/brigthness, camera quality, all these little things together provide a totally new experience. Compared to fold 3 and exynos S22Ultra, it's a BIG winner.

I made a bold move and traded my S22 Ultra for the Z fold 4. It was not simple to leave the S22 Ultra which is an amazing device. First of all the camera. I had a good use of the x10 zoom (and the x30 zoom) but in the end i mostly use the x3 zoom. So i will miss opportunities but that's it. Regarding the S Pen I used it a few times but i always felt limited by the screen size. By the past i almost possessed all the Note series. At start the concept of phablet was something really new. But if we compare in size the first note with the S22Ultra, and it's the main issue for me, the S22Ultra is too large to fit in my pockets. On the over part the Fold4 is really a phablet, a phone with a correct size, fitting in my pockets, able to transform into a tablet. So far i'm really enjoying it and the confort procured by this phone. As for the battery life it seems to be on par with the S22U.

At the end of the day, it'll truly be up to the user. I don't think people are as blinded as they once were. The need for another to influence their decision is lower I feel. However, there is still some people that think Android is as bad as it's once was. I remember wanting to switch to Android, when the last iPhone I had was the IPhone XS Max. I had a feeling they were just going to be releasing the same thing year after year, and the Oppo Find X actually broke the curse on me. I use to watch Apple events, and hearing things like, "we're the first to-" "never done before" and instead of researching elsewhere to see if it was true, I didn't. Mostly because, I was so blinded. I didn't even know there was this thing called "Android." I had no idea there were phones other than the IPhone. The Oppo Find X was spreading so fast at the time, that it ended up on my youtube home page. It was trending like crazy. I also remember thinking, theres a new phone coming to the market? To compete with Apple? Not knowing there were so many different manufacturers, and models of phones, varying in different shapes and sizes, etc for years. Honestly, even today, going out and seeing something other than an IPhone is rare, mostly unheard-of I feel. Once looking into Android, and at the time, the Note 9 (first and favorite Android, or Samsung phone for the longest) I was being told to stay away by people who were reviewing it. They talked horribly on the software experience, and the performance provided by the Snapdragon, etc. People also loved pointing out how different IPhone and Androids are. When it doesn't really matter. At least for me it didn't. I love innovation, and can't complain about the experience I've received from Samsung with software. It's grown so much since then. My Note 9 was not the best when it came to software (whatever it was running at the time) but it wasn't enough to scare me away either. Nor was the performance. It was quite powerful. I'm glad I didn't run away. I'm currently with my second folding device. It has yet to yet to get old. Still so refreshing using it everyday. What I'm trying to say is, everyone is different. People gripe at things on the fold that I can't see to gripe about. They aren't complaints of mine. Some viewers might allow videos to direct them, but you really need to experience things on your own. I definitely feel like it would be harder, as the coverage and come up of Androids has been insane. Android is nothing like it was. It's come so far. Fortunately, I pulled the plug. I realized what I wanted in a phone, and Android has been able to provide that. Along with manufacturers (Samsung particularly). I feel like I'm everywhere with what I'm trying to say, but I think you get what I mean. I wouldn't be worried about this, or anyone else putting off viewers.

I upgraded from the Z fold 3, I keep hearing reviewers say the crease is the same....unless it gets worse over time, it is not the same. It was the first thing I noticed taking it out of the box. It isn't as deep as on my Z fold 3. I always noticed the crease to an extent on that phone...the Z Fold 4 is easier to ignore for me, and I've compared them directly side by side so I know it's not a placebo effect. It's still very much there but it's definitely more shallow to my eye and harder to notice even with angle shifts. It's slight, but I see it.

If it did it was so minimal I didn't even notice. Also using the standing case that comes with the spen and while it's slightly thicker, I do enjoy having the slightly better grip for my fingers, plus the pen holder actually provides a slant that keeps the camera off any surface even more than just the case would provide.

I like the Microsoft type row at the bottom of the phone plus the much easier method of dividing the screen up which was something I didn't do because of how cumbersome it was to initiate. Plus I was not happy with the camera on the 2 in low light setting so this should be a major upgrade for me. Oh! Not to mention those rebates and trade in value were fantastic on my fold 2.

this has around the same battery life as the s22 ultra because the new 8+ gen 1 processor is well optimized and performs much better and that optimization makes the battery life much better despite the zfold 4 having same battery size as the zfold 3 and they also have a better display tech, both the zfold and zflip uses the M12 pro display tech which only consumes 48% of the dynamic 2x amoled tech found on the zfold 3, s22 ultra etc.... plus they have the new power saving mode which lowers the performce very slightly to last years z series which still performs great and the adaptive refresh rate feature isn't limited. The zfold 4 doesn't give any new featue I'd basically call this the zfold 3 edition as it just improves alot of things wrong with the zfold 3 even though it doesn't have any feature feature I'd say it's an important upgrade it's pretty much like android 13 in a way, although they could've added dust resistance, spen support on the cover display and gotten rid of the crease because this is the 4th gen of the product so that crease being their not the end of the world but not acceptable. Other than these changes despite them adding more optimized processor I want to see 4800-5000 mAh battery, wider display and enclosed spen as well as atleast making the main camera sensors s23 ultra while keeping rest of the camera lens s23/s23+ and would like to see the camera fully flushed and the phone to sit flat and please Samsung make their cases better and add hinge protection they can just glue the 2 peces together with a thin stretchable sleeve as well as making it such as fit were you don't have to put stickers because what it you want to change cases and putting that hinge protection not only protects the hinges but also prevents the case from sliding off without using stickers hopefully 3rd party maunfacterers pay attention to this

I have not got my fold yet, so take my opinion as the speculation it is, but I think having the larger s-pen as a separate accessory is a better idea, I never used the s-pen much on the notes I had in the past as it was just 2 narrow and 'unnatural' to hold. I thought it was just me not liking writing on a screen (no texture) but since getting a 2-in-1 laptop with a pen, I actually really like it because its larger and more like holding a real pen, the only complaint is the palm rejection, which I hear is quite good on the fold 4.
the s-pen included with the case looks like its about the size a normal pen/pencil, if it was in the phone it would have to be smaller than the one in the old notes or the phone would have to be a lot thicker (at least on one half) particularly with the 2 screen.

I got my fold 4 on the 17th, idk how it arrived early but it did
I've been using it as my daily after upgrading from a S20U. And it's an amazing phone. The crease isn't noticeable and the under display camera is basically invisible. I tried the fold 3 and I must say the 4's front display is much but for size, and i can 2 finger it (my hands aren't that small). The camera improvements are quite the upgrade even compared to an ultra phone that isn't that old. And I'll be honest, I was intimidated by the split keyboard, but it's very natural feeling and I picked it up pretty quickly.
And yes the durability is very good, even without a case on it I fell off my bicycle and the phone hit pure asphalt, bearly a mark on the device.
My only complaint is that you definitely need to carry a microfiber with you. The screen easily picks up finger prints on the inside, and when closed it tends to attract alot of dust in the gap
Overall an amazing phone, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back

I've had mine since Saturday. I'm coming from an old S9+, so this is a huge upgrade. My only complaints are the weight, would have liked it bigger, storage for the SPen (I hate cases). Other than that, this thing is a beast! I've used multiwindows when talking on the phone with clients, opening up the calendar to set a date while having my email open as well as zoom to schedule that in too. If I'm on FB, I'll usually have youtube Vanced running at the top with a podcast or something. Watching vids or Toks while commuting is awesome. The whole thing is just too good.
I've not had any issue with battery life, mind you, I have wireless chargers in my car, by my computer, by my bed. So not that big a deal in our modern lives. But from the tests I've seen this thing has better battery life than than the S22 Ultra anyway. But ya, I keep finding more to like with this thing and I can't imagine going back to a candybar phone again after this.

@@CJ_Figy they did but you can still find the apks to download. Should work for some time, but just won't be updated. Hopefully by the time UA-cam doesn't work well on it anymore, someone will have come out with something else..

Still debating getting the fold 4 but if I do I'd keep the s22ultra and finance the device outright. I've heard enough stories of people waiting weeks for their device to get repaired. I am still a little skeptical about the durability. Folding glass is still maturing technology. I see the internals being slimmed down a little and possibly wider and a bit taller to get flagship cameras and a bit bigger battery.

Seems like maybe you should slap a case onto your phone next time rather than blaming it on Samsung’s choice of phone material:)

19:00 I have the Fold 2 and use a capacitive touch pen with rubber tip and "floating disc" for screen use. It works great and I have not had any production problems with it. With the exception of a few dead pixels (my fault for sitting on it and also sleeping on it) I have never had a problem with it and it powers through my day. The only upgrade for me to the Fold 4 would be the camera... except I don't take many pictures... like, almost none... So for me, I'll stick to the Fold 2 for a little bit longer.

People complaining about the crease, it's never going away, it folds like a book. If you don't want the crease, stick with a regular boring size phone. But the fold is innovative for phones, and of course samsung brought it to life. I love the fold 4. I get so many looks and questions about my fold. I am a fold 2 user upgraded to the fold 4. This is my go to phone like the note series use to be, but I won't upgrade every year.

@@dupasraja9885 it definitely seems like the cpu is doing its job. i feel like my s22 ultra would last longer than the fold 4 doing nothing. there are days were i run the full screen a lot and you would assume it would drain the battery like crazy and it doesnt. i never even have to think about charging it throughout the day. the biggest difference i notice is the charging speed is slower. about 1.5 hours using my 100w gan pps charger whereas the s22ultra was 55 minutes from dead.
