I started listening to your podcast sermons just recently so I could remind myself of what we are going to cover in my next group Bible study. I've listened to Daniel, Zechariah, and Revelation on Enduring Word. I am just about ready for my next study. It's amazing each time you study you learn something else. Praise the Lord for your devotion to Him. Thank you for recording and sharing these.
I’m still studying in Acts but went further a couple chapters on your videos and got ahead of myself. So here I am checking out your videos on Revelation. I too remember such an excitement of the coming of the Lord in the 70s. My daddy sat us down regularly as young children telling us about it. Families gathered at the church and we watched Thief in The Night.

Pastor Guzik, I have a question about why the rapture is considered part of the second coming, rather than a "coming" in its own right. Wouldn't it be a lot less confusing for people if we talked about Jesus coming three times, rather than two times, and the second time having two parts? I do realize that Jesus doesn't come all the way to earth to rapture us, but other than that, is there some reason for not counting this as three comings? Thank you for any insight you can share, and God bless you for the work you do for Him.

I love your studies but may I suggest a distinction between Hebrews and "those who call themselves Jews but are not". Many of those Israelites who returned from Babylon brought back the Talmud, their own "golden calf" which tarnished scriptural Hebraism in biblical Israel.. Talmudism became the basis for modern Jewry and witchcraft today. By the time of Jesus many Edomites as well had coverted to "Judaism" including circumcision and other outward "signs". Israel had indeed become a mixed multitude. The Herodians themselves were of Edomite origin. This is a distinction many Bible teachers fail to examine deeply because to do so penetrates a great deception still permeating society today. Blessings in Christ Jesus Brother David.
