This is the last year that Ford will be making this wide-body chassis, so you can expect these perfectly sized camper vans to become increasingly rare. The aerodynamic styling on this Excel makes it an easy vehicle to drive and you won’t notice the extra width until you get inside. Then you’ll appreciate the extra square footage where you need it the most, starting with the enclosed wet bath, where you can enjoy a shower even if you’re a long way out in the woods. The central kitchen has a beautiful look and gives you plenty of storage, solid surface counter tops with a counter extension, a recessed 2-burner stone, a 3-cubic foot refrigerator/freezer and two different seating options to share a meal together. But don’t stay inside if it’s a beautiful evening; take your meal out under the 10’ awning and appreciate a meal by the campfire. At the end of the day, if you’re travelling as a couple, fold the ultra leather sofa down and turn it into a king size bed, or go the other easy route if you’re travelling with a friend and make two twin beds. In the morning, you’ll be ready to hit the road again.

Hey, Mr. Van Guy...I really like your videos! However...one day, would you please, please, actually step INTO the shower/bathroom? I can't get a perspective of how small or narrow it really is. Am not able at the present to go to a dealer and look at one myself. Thanks so much!

Had same widebody pleasure way Ford 2010, no matter what we did even using 2 inch memory foam,worst sleep in our lives...pleasureway designers or that salesman should check that shitty bed out.we sold only for that reason we sold our unit after 3 years.I should note that it handles/drives like a dream.well designed,great quality.sleep in it BEFORE you buy...
Most people replace RV mattresses with better versions. Memory foam requires at least 5 inches thickness to allow for comfortable sleeping.
The bathroom is an awesome feature for a small coach. I'm 5' 5" so...thats a HUGE bathroom 👍

Class Bs cost more than Cs and As.
pk13910 Why? they should be cheaper. They have less to offer than a normal Class C's and A's.
TheWiseMan Construction costs. Class As and Cs are constructed on a blank chassis using 1x2 stick framing, plywood floors, and cheaper cabinetry. They also assemble the interior before they slap on the walls and roof which cuts down on the assembly labor.
In a class B, the van is already constructed and they have to fit everything inside, make the cabinets contoured to fit the roof line etc.
In the end, the class B is less vulnerable to leaks and creaks and they have a higher resale value.
Compare prices to a 20 year old class B to a 20 year old mid level class A.

Nice concise presentation and I don't feel like I need a shower after watching one of the RV guys sell their given model. I'm looking for a Ford TS, V8 (not the Triton 10) in Ultra leather.Also need solar panels (and controller) and a backup camera.

Is a cool motorhome except bathroom looks so small

It's the only one in it's class and in it's age group (except for some very rare doge units) that has one. All the other companies turn the head the other way and force you to remodel to use the toilet. A shower is a major project but the wet bath design in this rig is actually usable and why they all do it this way in the class Bs.

moosegreen24 It really depends on the individual. B Vans are all unique to different types of people, who like to do different things. Some like to do more adventurous stuff, others like a smoother ride for the highway, while some use it as a second vehicle. Floor plans play a big role in people's decision as well. As far as the two brands go, they're both great and if one or the other fits your type of RVing, then that's the one for you. Did you have an idea of what you were looking for in a van?

To me the units are pretty comparable in this age and style group (but Roadtrek never made a widebody) problem with the Roadtreks is that the head is in the middle of the rig to take a shower. The sideways wet bath is usable if you're a slim to regular guy. I'm not sure that The Van Guy would be happy with it. If you're heavy opt for the Roadtrek and go through all the hassells of setting up and tearing down the shower every day.
