The Melusine questline really evokes major Made In Abyss vibes. even their lore is really terrfying. These cute critters are being born from the blood of an enormous abyssal creature and they have special characteristics that can perceive reality differently.
And the fact that Elynas is probably Gold's creation too... He speaks of his "Mother" the same way Durin does. He said he came from lonely "void" and Durin says that he was born from a "dark universe". Durin also perceived the world differently. From his perspective we can see that his intentions were good and he wanted to make friends in Mondstadt, while others describe him as terrifying and destructive. Just like Elynas he seems to not understand that his actions hurt others. Elynas' blood was likened to Scarlet Quartz as well
