@@telosbound I mean, if he's "speaking generally" I don't disagree, but he seems to be speaking in absolute terms, which is a bad idea, generally speaking lol
@@telosbound Would definitely recommend reading Lacan. Lorenzo Chiesa is a great Lacanian scholar, same with Alenka Zupancic. Don’t know if you’ve read Alain Badiou, but, like Zizek, is brilliant and deeply interested in Lacan’s fundamental subversion of Aristotelian logic
Truly outstanding overview of self-relating negativity: excellent work!
Damn, fantastically succinct and clear
I really love the insight on the ouroboros
Great work!
Does Zizek overlook psychedelics, meditation, etc? It changes the math *substantially*.

Really nice video. Would you mind telling me where the background footage is from?
@@telosbound thanks
awesome!
What is the picture on 5:18?
@@telosbound I m trying to grasp what objet a actually means. Pettit a from Lacan and Object a from Zizek are different concepts.
Where are all the quotes from?
Nirvana shatakam. The essence of what you seek
cool videos, but why ascribe much of zizek to zizek and not lacan? do you study much psychoanalysis?

I'm just curious but what is your opinion of Jacques Alain-Millar? Didn't Lacan ask his followers to subvert Lacanian thought?
Tbh, more I read, the more I think Zizek is not so much of great philosopher.
